As a police officer for the city of Duncanville, I must admit that crime in our city is out of control.
The bullying that is rampant at the high school is the worst it's ever been, and we cannot stop it.
Many parents have filed complaints against their kids getting bullied, but in most cases we cannot do anything about it, it's an out of control problem.
And another scenerio is played out at the infamous Center Ridge apartments on the corner of Center and Cedar Ridge, crime is out of control.
So many local shops have been robbed and the criminals all appear to run to this apartment complex for sanctuary.
Some of the tenants decide to sit out beside the dumpster near the middle of the complex and unlawfully congregate, they call in their friends from all over the area to drink and share drugs.
Since it is on private property, we cannot make them leave or even stop.
The managers simply do not care about their tenants, and now since our hands are tied, we can only patrol the area.
We have been given the name of Moochie as the main instigator of this act and his friend Reggie who supplies the alcohol, and from what we have been told, it's available to minors.
Why would two guys around fifety years old be offering alcohol to teenage boys ?, you be the judge.

I am not afraid of being told on for posting this thread, our police chief is sickened by the lack of help on the part of the community.
We are greatful to Citizens on patrol for their undying effort to expose the unjustices, but we need more help from the community.
We highly suggest citizens to take photographs of the happenings at the Center Ridge apartments, the evidence can be turned over to a higher court and the managers can be charged with breach of contract, on protecting their tenants.
Another scenerio is the gathering of illegal aliens that congregate at Armstrong park near the public library, these people have been known to attack and at times rob local teens.

Why should a Duncanville police officer post this thread ??

We need the help of the citizens, we do not have enough officers to handle this craze of crime in Duncanville.

Thank you, Officer Armstrong.

If you police officers would just do your jobs and quit crying over who's feelings you hurt, the crime wouldn't be so bad.
I refuse to back cowards, you guys get payed through our tax dollars, maybe we should fire you.
Private property or not, if it's in the city of Duncanville, you can enforce the law.

I live in Duncanville and it seems that you cops let the red light cameras do your jobs.

I enrolled in the Duncanville Citizens Police academy a couple of years ago , then went through the Citizens on Patrol class. Until you do this, you just have no idea the shit that goes on in our city and how often our officers do put their lives in danger to protect our citizens.

I grew up as an inner-city kid of Dallas during the 1960's and 70's and did alot of things typical of that generation. I had a strong mistrust of police officers in general - having never personally knowing one- until... I became a homeowner and parent. It was then I started to view police as public servants who I wanted to protect my way of life, because I was a taxpayer and that's what I was paying them for. Now I know they are special people who really are in law-enforcement to "PROTECT AND SERVE". They are also people who may of had a bad day, problems at home etc like the rest of us- so if you think an officer has an ATTITUDE, it might be a bad day or He might of had to deal with assholes, criminals, or just stupid people, to enforce ours laws etc.

Police are special people. And under-paid. And frequently put in dangers you never hear about. I couldn't be one; I couldn't marry or be in a relationship with one and I wouldn't want my children to become one. I'm selfish like that. So, I try to volunteer for my city to lighten their load on mundane police work.

And I'm sorry for referring to them as "PIGS" etc until I grew up and realized they were the "PROTECTORS" of our free lives- much like our American soldiers.

Open your eyes- apply to the citizen's Police academy and COP classes and then volunteer- you'll see what's really going on in Duncanville.

I think it is sad that not more people in the city have not responded to this thread. If you see something that is wrong you need to do your part to help.

Just didn't want the residents to know who I am, but now I don't care, the police do not do their jobs in Duncanville, we asked for help and they do nothing.
You would not understand what's going on, until you have a look for yourself, these residents are being treated bad, the police could do something,.......Armstrong are you still here ??

Officer Armstrong has admitted they can't do anything about Center Ridge apartments, maybe it's time to take Duncanville back from the free loaders.
I encourage everyone in Duncanville to call the Center Ridge apartments manager and tell them about this Topix thread, it's bad publicity, but it's what they deserve, they are contributing to the downfall of Duncanville.
Officer Armstrong if you will suggest a way we as citizens can get together and stop this action, please post.
I just drove by the apartment complex and there are teenagers drinking alcohol with men in their late 40's/early 50's, isn't that illegal ?
These so called citizens are pissing behind that dumpster you mentioned Ofiicer Armstrong.
I saw it with my own eyes, should I call you ????????

Re-post Officer Armstrong, I'm holding my breath.

Our city officials are the people that need to put heat on the management of the Center Ridge Apts-

Other cities have "harrassed" owners and managers with strict sweeps over zoning violations as well as pass nusance ordinances. Those, with a heavy police presence and Federal police help could work to clean the place up. Our police officers are only employees and don't have the power and resources to do this job.

Mayor Green, City council, City manager- Edward- why don't you contact them for help. Or organize a local militia against Center Ridge Apts. Class-action lawsuits can work. And- why not put in a personal plea to Obama. He cares.

ED- I do know the shit that goes on there. I used to live in those apts.

Quit bitching about it if you can't offer suggestions, or get the hell out of Dodge.

Ok I will contact the city officials, it's like a last resort, no one else has done anything to help.
If you used to live there then you know about the people drinking outside and causing all the trouble, it's illegal what they are doing, I'm not a police officer, if I was they would be in the dumpster with the rest of the garbage.
Obamma, huh ????

Obama helped a group of people clean up their neighborhood in Chicago- before he became a senator. If you get a chance, read his books.

also, call Eddie Bernice Johnson's office.

the 'legal' aliens harbor their illegal relatives. they receive federal aide from taxpayers and the illegal benefits b/c the government doesn't really know how many are in the household or who gets what. they lie.

One of the biggest obstacles the tenants have is that the bums are black, and most of the 911 operators are black as well, whenever the operator asks their race, you can hear her voice change when you tell her they are black.
How can calling the bums black be racist, if they really are black ?
They are not Asian,White or Hispanic, they are Black.
If they were Hispanic,Asian or White the police would have made them move on, but being black, guess it's racism.

Not my opinion, but a hard fact.

I'm out of this conversation- I didn't know I was dealing with such blatant racists. Criminals come in all skin colors and should be dealt with the same- a big stick.
