Oh dear. The Republican Party’s worst nightmare is coming true. Obamacare is working.
The news that nearly 1.2 million people signed up last month for insurance through the Affordable Care Act exchanges is highly inconvenient for GOP candidates nationwide. It looks as if the party’s two-word strategy for the fall election — bash Obamacare — will need to be revised.
Cumulatively, 3.3 million people had chosen insurance plans through the state and federal exchanges by the end of January. That is fewer than the administration had originally hoped but well above the predictions of critics who believed — or hoped — that the program would never succeed. The Congressional Budget Office projects that 6 million people will have chosen plans through Obamacare when the initial enrollment period ends March 31, down from a pre-launch estimate of 7 million. Not bad at all.
Thanks Barack !

Now back to FIXED NEWS with Sean Hannity on the Benghazi Scandal ..........LMAO!
#56016 Feb 17, 2014
As of Dec. 31, "more than 9 million people now have health care coverage because of the Affordable Care Act," writes Josh Marshall. "It now seems like the number is more like 10 million."
Here's how that number breaks down: 2.1 million people have signed up for private insurance through the exchanges. About 4.4 million people have signed up for Medicaid coverage. And about 3.1 million young adults got coverage through Obamacare's rule forcing insurers to cover dependents up to age 26. Then there's the unknown number of people who bought Obamacare-based coverage directly from insurers.
The question is how many of these people really got coverage through Obamacare?
The exchange numbers are solid. You can trust those. The 3.1 million young adults who got coverage through the new insurance regulations is a pretty reliable figure, too -- though it's measuring something different than what people are usually thinking of when they ask how many people Obamacare has signed up.
But the Medicaid numbers are more complex. Each state runs its own count, and the data includes people who enrolled in Obamacare's Medicaid expansion as well as people who were eligible under prior law. To the Obama administration's annoyance, some states are also counting people who're simply renewing existing Medicaid policies.
A lot of the 4.4 million people who got coverage under Medicaid in the last few months got it from Obamacare's Medicaid expansion. Even more would've gotten it if all the states were participating in Obamacare's Medicaid expansion. But some simply got coverage under the preexisting Medicaid program
Thanks Barack !!

The GOP is going back to their same old failed policy of Clinton bashing. Oh yeah they don't have to many original ideas. Ideas and original thought processes do not come easy for the blunt headed idiots. Pretty soon they're going to be rolling out that old hag Linda Tripp again, mark my word on this too. And nothing turns people off more than Linda Tripp oh yes people will be breaking the doors down to vote with the Democratic Party if they do this ....but they're going to do it.No doubt about it they will definately roll the old hag out again, just watch Hannity will do this and that'll be the end of New Whig (Tea Party) Party for good...
So bring the Grande dame out Sean, go ahead fall on your sword for the ignorant fools...

Republicans have been feeding at the trough of social issues for over 20 years now. Suddenly, at least to them, they find themselves on the wrong side of the popular issues of the day, same sex marriage, legalized marijuana, immigration ,women's rights , minimum wage, etc. All they have left is abortion. expect them to play it for all they can get out of it
Just like last time, it will backfire in their face.

AG Kane doesn't want to clean up all the corruption and stench that Corbett will leave behind.
She's fine where she is, she will run in the next election. Corrupt let his buddy Sandusky molest kids for over 20 years and did NOTHING ! Hope Tom sleeps good at night..

We can all be logical about this, but here is the reality. Ted Cruz does not care about anyone but Ted Cruz. He doesn't actually give a damn about this country, given his behavior during the government shutdown. He is a psycho opportunist and as long as the dimmer bulbs let him play the Pied Piper, he will lead them to drown in the sea EVERY damn time......His principles can be covered in a few words. Media attention and continous high profile suicide missions to make himself look far more dedicated than he truly is. He is dedicated to himself. The guy is Joe McCarthy and will throw anyone under the bus who gets in his way. Being a team player is truly outside his skill set...
Thank you so much Texas for sending us another poster child for your faulty educational system and water........Truly--are you ever ashamed of what you vote for as your spokesman???? This time you went to new lows...

You sound dumb.
#56029 Feb 18, 2014
I can understand your frustration with Cruz but don't take it out on all Texas. The liberal faction in Texas has been opressed by the idiot class there for many years now, but beleive me that there are some really great Democrats there and these folks are going to turn the tables on the Koch brothers and their reign of terror on the idiot class there in the great state of Texas. Its just a matter of time before they turn Blue in the next years.
Just keep an opened mind and support the Dems in Texas...

The whole global warming lie is a giant, international environmental scam and hoax designed to control people by instigating fear and panic.
There is no global warming, only hot-air from Al Gore and his gaggles of Woodstock rejects who have made many millions by perpetuating something that just isn’t so.

Obama Has Unilaterally Changed or Delayed Obamacare 24 Times
February 17, 2014
President Obama has unilaterally changed or delayed Obamacare 24 times without going back to Congress, according to Fox News’ Chris Wallace. Members of Congress sparred Sunday over Obama’s decision last week to delay Obamacare’s employer mandate.
“We have a government of one,” said Senator Mike Lee (R-UT).“We have a super executive and super legislator vested in the president of the United States.… The president knows this is wrong and it’s not defensible. He is violating the Constitution. He is exercising power that doesn’t belong to him. It belongs to the American people.”
Last week, Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer criticized Obama’s unilateral actions on Obamacare.“It’s whatever he thinks,” Krauthammer quipped.“He wakes up in the morning and decides what the law is going to be.”

The IRS now has your mothers house surrounded and they're ready to move in on her. Once in, they will then take her to Guantanamo for intense interogation. and oh hell yes, waterboarding techniques aren't off the table either. Those contributions to Pat Robertson's charity "Africa, Mine for the Taking" didn't set well with the IRS stormtroopers and she's going to be toast real soon. I hope she gives you up too and I'd really love to see you joining her in Guantanamo too. Oh yes, she will talk, you can take that to the bank.

Only FIXED news and the Heritage are running this lie..........BUT WAIT!!
Radical Conservative Senator Mike Lee Sells His $1.1 million Home in a Short Sale – What a Nice Deal
Conservatives Believe in Taking Personal Responsibility – For Everyone Else
Hmmmmmmm,, so the news report is that Sen. Lee lost his ‘significant’ down payment. And that news almost certainly came from Senator Lee. But wait a minute, the bank took a loss of $400,000 and the proceeds of the sale were $720,000 which says that the original loan must have been about $1.2 million for a $1.1 million home. Those numbers imply that Sen. Lee made absolutely no down payment at all. Or maybe he did make a down payment, of say,$100.00 which Sen. Lee now characterizes as significant.
Of course that would imply that a well connected politician got a sweetheart deal in the first place but that cannot be the case, that is something that almost never ever happens. But if everything was above board then surely Sen. Lee will soon release the details of all this. Yeah, right.

To pick up seats in the midterm elections, Republicans, as the opposition party, must convince voters they should be trusted to govern. And to that end, the party has a bold new campaign strategy: do nothing.
Though we're almost nine months out from election day, Republicans have decided their best shot at winning in November is not to go big with sweeping policy proposals, but rather to go small and avoid tripping over themselves. The party is "focused on calming their divided ranks in the months ahead," according to The Washington Post's Robert Costa, "mostly by touting proposals that have wide backing within the GOP and shelving any big-ticket legislation for the rest of the year."
More from Costa:
Republican leaders are also quite aware of voters' skepticism about the GOP's policies, and most believe that a softer sell, rather than an assertive attempt to pass major bills, is a smart play. A Washington Post-ABC News poll in January found that just 19 percent of Americans have confidence in congressional Republicans to make the right decisions for the country, while 80 percent do not…
…In the meantime, avoiding unruly theatrics and trying to package the GOP as a ready-to-govern party is the leadership's chief concern.[Washington Post]
On the surface, that might seem like a reasonable idea. Split by a pronounced ideological divide, the GOP has had a hard time finding consensus among even its own members; last week, various ideas for attaching strings to the latest debt ceiling vote fell apart for lack of party support. And when the GOP has taken a strong stand on pressing issues — say, shutting down the government over ObamaCare — the results have been less than stellar.
The big problem with the do-nothing routine though is that it rings hollow. The GOP is essentially arguing it is the "ready-to-govern" party while at the same time admitting it is totally unable to govern.
"We don't have 218 votes in the House for the big issues," Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told the Post, "so what else are we going to do

Wasn't this the no bid contract company and once run by Dick Cheney that Bush and his war crime family hired to do work in Iraq and overcharged the US tax payers billions of dollars..........well......... .guess what?
In one of the largest penalties leveled against an oil and gas service company in Pennsylvania's history, the Department of Environmental Protection fined Halliburton Energy Services $1.8 million for transporting, processing and disposing of hydrochloric acid without classifying it as a hazardous substance.
Over a period of 12 years, Halliburton didn't keep records of how much acid it moved, making it difficult to account for all potential infractions, but the DEP counted 255 violations between 1999 and 2011.
Halliburton, the Houston-based energy service firm that helps oil and gas operators frack and cement wells, operated a facility in Homer City where it stored, among other things, unused hydrochloric acid hauled from well sites. The company would treat the acid with lime to neutralize it, according to DEP spokesman John Poister, and then would send the resulting liquid waste to other facilities. Mr. Poister said some acid was not properly neutralized and was sent to facilities that were not permitted to accept such waste.
