S.C. Mayor Reinstates Police Pursuits

The Mayor of Wellford, S.C. has agreed to reverse her recent, controversial policy banning police from chasing suspects, according to WTKR-TV3 . Mayor Sallie Peake instituted the policy earlier this month on the grounds that several officers have been injured during chases, driving up insurance costs for the town.
