Those who died were obedient slaves to dictators. We do nor have leaders we tell the government what they can do. Your education has made you dependent on government rather than independent.

If you pay taxes you are dependent on the government to protect you. Working hard is not the same thing as working smart. The government used you as has your religion control you through fear and beliefs. The real world is not one of imaginary fears. Every key stroke is monitored by the nanny government you believe is honest.

It takes a vigilant public to keep control of government not the other way around.

I do not let emotions rule my life. God is a religious invention. If you believe in a superior being you have been used by fearing someone more powerful than yourself. You have the power to change government and it starts with talking to your neighbor. It does not happen by pledging to leaders.

Yeah.....and I'll be willing to bet that you'll be the first to complain when there are no jobs, decent economic development, school improvements, etc. in a few years. Tishomingo County is going to be the only dry county in the state pretty soon. I guess people think being dry will keep everyone safe from the evils of alcohol when meth and other substances are running rampant in the county. You're lucky someone like Tubby has the ***** to try to do something about it!!!!

Guess its alright for the lawyer not to salute the flag. Our president doesn't!!!! Have you seen the pictures with everyone else having hands over hearts when the pledge was being made? Not O'Bama, he holds his hands over his crotch, guess that is why it is being referred to as a "crotch salute". Disgusting piece of work!!!
Sure and he is a Moslem and was born in Africa and faked his law degree etc. It is surprising how many Morons there are who believe such drivel. PS did you know that Obama is really a white man with a good tan?

The pledge of allegiance was enacted by a socialist 100 years after our country was founded, research it. The things you think have "always been" really hasn't.

I'm a business owner. I am only one of many backing Mr. Aldridge.
Tishomingo County is most certainly going wet. Time to move forward.

"Under God" was added in 1954 by President Eisenhower less than 60 years ago. Not to say that I do not believe those words, I do very much so, however, I believe they are misplaced.

Our 1st Amendments establishment clause which by our founders was written nearly 235 years ago. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

I think those words are clear and the reasons our founders wrote them are clear as well. It was to protect the individuals right to worship or not worship, however he would choose. Think if the government could regulate the way we worship like the way they do our economy...or if there was a National Religion....

I know in the South this might not be a popular stance and Im ok with that, but its not about taking God out of Government its about insuring the Government isn't allowed to think they have the power to rule over God.

Constitutionally, yes I agree completely, but I encourage you to tell that to the police officer at the roadblock, or the senator who tells him to take your guns, and the taxes that take your paycheck.
