Neibauer dental is great they are all about there patients no matter what anybody wants to say everyone makes mistakes and nobody is perfect. They take time with each patient. If you ever had a problem and you need a dentist guarantee if you call ever dentist in town neibauer is the only one that will fit you in.

Just because they are able to "fit you in" does not make it a good practice. Seems all the info I've been reading on the net is that the company isn't properly trained it's personnel or maybe they aren't getting training at all.
What is the checks & balances of this business if there are problems...where does one go for problems to be corrected. It's bad when there are so many complaints & nothing is being done to correct it.

We need to know more about Chain dentistry, The man is just trying to make money, he doesn't do dentistry himself. The management is awful. They will not last long.

I've become very irratated by Neibauer's practice of seeming to think that everyone is a "credit risk". Before you can even book an appointment for services like a root canal, crown etc.you have to pay half the bill at the time of booking. I've have spent thousands of dollars with Neibauer and have never had to even get a statement from them. I was in there recently in terrible pain and in walks one of their staff people asking me for payment before I can get in the chair as though I was going to jump up and run out after treatment. I overpaid for a plan by $1,030 and got the run around about my refund. They want you to wait 3-4 weeks for your money but you can't walk of their door oweng them a penny. I think there's something wrong with that picture. I will certainly be looking for a new Dental Practice.

When I first tried this dentist, they gave me an estmate of $18,000 (!!!) "fix my smile". I walked out of there crying. I switched dentists immediately. Last week, they told my daughter that she had a cracked tooth and needed a crown right away. They did not even take xrays! My daughter went to my dentist and received a 2nd opinion. The dentist relayed that he could not see a crack, nor did one show on the xray. Neibauer was going to charge a college stdent $800 for no reason. This dentist is fraudulent!!!

If you are thinking of going to Neibauer Dental please think hard and read all the reviews. My problem is with the one in Great Mills, St. Mary's,Maryland. I went in with their promotional new patient coupon for $99 cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatment, x-rays, exam; I ended up spent my 1hour20minutes talking to Leslie office manager selling me my treatment plan for $5000 crown and fillings. Before I left that day they tried to charge me $99 for the coupon without any cleaning, polishing, fluoride treatment. They told me my teeth were so bad (which is BS) that they couldn't clean, that the only option was deep cleaning, and they were going to do that after I was done with my treatment plan. I had a tooth abscess and I was in pain, but the doctor didn't give a rat ass. They sent me home to come back 2 weeks later for the extraction, crown, etc. They didn't even prescribe me any antibiotic, and they were trying to rib me off $99 for the coupon. I refused, went home check the internet and was shocked to find out that many of their patients had similar experience, the reviews were so bad, and darn me I should have checked before wasting my time. 3 weeks later, I got my insurance paper and they charged my insurance and got paid for the x-ray $49, then they charged my care credit for $4806 for the treatment which I had terminated the day after the first visit. I demanded for full refund, they did but left $50 on my credit card, and first of all they charged me without my consent. The coupon had nothing to do wiht the treatment plan on my care credit, and when I first made the new patient visit, I specifically asked if that was all that I needed to pay $99 for what they listed on the coupon, and they confirmed it was all I need to pay.I talked to them and they said the original amount was $99 my insurance paid 49 so I owed them 50. I reminded them the problem that they refused to clean my teeth and did all the things they had on the coupon, they were very misleading and sleazy, and to be fair they got half of the $99 paid for the xrays. I am still waiting for them to refund my $50. Stay away from these unethical dental practice. I am sure will spread the words, it is a small town. Shame on them.

Is this a rent a dentist or what. When I went there for my cleaning I saw a man sitting in a truck outside the office, it turns out he was the dentist and would come in only when the hygentist paged him and look in a customers mouth. I asked him a question about a crown that I need and he said that "Only God knows the answer to that." Well I should have written my check out to God because he certainly would have done a better job and left a better impression that the rent a dentist that I saw. It took the nurse two minutes to clean my teeth with "a new sonic cleaning tool". No polishing and not even a sink or drain to rinse my mouth out in. The first thing I did was call my insurance company and tell them of the way this office was ran and advise them to remove this office from their providers list.

i understant your concern but let me tell you that not all the fractures are seen on xrays the porcentage of the cases where you can see a fracture in an xray is not hight , the diagnosis of a fracture tooth depends on the type of pain the patient have the xray is a dx tool but on fractures is not that helpful , it is hard to dx but a crown is the right tx for a fracture maybe there were not that wrong. Anyways i dont work for them but it is just for your information.

My experience with Neibauer Dental Clinic is mixed. When my family came in for check ups and cleanings I was really impressed by their professionism, courtesy and all the things that you would want for customer service. After 6 years at the same dentist and not having any dental issues that I was aware of.(we moved here and chose Neibauer Dental Clinic)..I came away from this check up needing 3 crowns and a replacement filling. I generally will take the professionals at their word, so I had the work done, applied for their CareCredit for the work to the tune of $1800. Then about 2 months later, I received a notice in the mail from my insurance company stating that they denied the insurance claim based on their findings that the work was unnecessary. The clinic filed the claim a 2nd time and it was reviewed again and denied again, although the insurance company decided to pay one tooth as a courtesy because they felt it was borderline. Now some might say it's the insurance company that is being shrewd or cheap, but I really don't think so in this case based on the fact that I've been with this insurance company for over 20 years and I've never had an issue with a claim until now. I never had any dental pain prior to these crowns but ever since the work was done I have experienced sensitivity that at times is severe. In hind sight I wish I had gone for a second opinion as I'm still paying on this unnecessary work and I can think of so many other things I would rather have bought!

Neibauer Dental should be reported to the Attorney General's office for false information to patients, in order to perform costly and unessary dental work. It is absolutely horrible...new to this area, I went in for a routine cleaning and ended up with 4 root canals (3 on the same tooth)and three crowns (two on the same tooth). Neibauer has amateur dentists performing the work, yet the dental charges/rates are above average. The current condition of my mouth/teeth is nothing short of malpractice. I sincerely wished that I had done my homework prior to stepping foot in their office. My experience has been a nightmare. This company should not be allowed to continue operating with such deceptive business practices that are harmful to the public. Many regrets...

The Great Mills office is poorly run. The herd you in, try and make you take out a loan for dental work that cost more than a car. Who does that?????
