As expected, Slwepid missed my point that you can't compare the ROI from NASA with a boondoggle train that has already failed a number of times and will likely become a big "party barge" for a bunch of college students. If they want to drive to the cities every weekend let them carpool.
Maybe our new Democrat Representative from the 8th istrict could take up where Jimmy BikeShorts left off a couple of years ago when the good people of MN fired Oberstar's ass.

Just build a bike corridor from the Twin Cities to Duluth and then start up another of the Yellow Bike programs that worked so well in St Paul. Now tell the young college students to start pumping those f-ing pedals on the bikes. Enjoy your ride!

Here is the deal, we build a high speed train from Duluth to St Paul, right into the LRT station near the new taxpayer subsidized stadium in Lower town. Then those who want to go to the Twins game, can jump on the LRT to DT MPLS to another taxpayer subsidized stadium, or during football season to the newest subsidized stadium, called Vikingland. So, we have all kinds of taxpayer supported entities nicely tied up. I am not sure why you nay sayers don't like spending taxpayer money, after all, you are the ones actually paying the taxes!

good let the rail roads build it ( and let them charge what is should cost ) not a SUBSIZED liberal tax on the people. Charge what is cost to run a rail road, not a free ride for the masses paid for by the greater public.

Hey, As the Collectivist's ride en mass on the Communal Trains to the Central Core, they can make a choice to ride Yellow Bikes to the variety of Collectivized Venues, or to take a Horse And Buggy.

How soon until the Taxpayers will be funding an Obama Arena where the Gladiators can slaughter the Infidels for Public Enjoyment? If it is called an "Investment", you know the Sheeple will be all for this "Jobs Program".... Gladiators need to eat to ya know!

Serious question.

How did those that actually believe the crap they post come to be so ignorant?

I am not talking about the Dangerous Sociopath's like Slew who has no clue, no original thoughts, but only operates on a Base Level much like a Domesticated Animal.

I am talking about the majority of Minnesooootans that are Willfully Ignorant who allow themselves to be awed by Shiny Baubles and Slight of Hand Tricks by the Dependent Leeches that are embedded in the Cultural/Government Institutions in the State, who seek 1st to justify their Job, and are empowered by the Ignorant Sheeple.

Little Slewsie,

Let me remind you that we had a discussion about the "Results" from your "Sexually Dangerous Sociopath", Battery of Tests and I thought we had an agreement that you will stop using Voice Recognition Software as a tool that allows you to Masturbate as you abuse strangers on the Internet?

Please come to my Office after you get this Message!

But But But,

You lie the Vikings stadium is funded by new form of gaming, "Electronic Pull Tabs".

But But But, wait the new electronic pull tabs arn't producing the revenue as projected. Ohwell they can get the needed money from the general fund.

At some point the sheepie will figure out a better plan is to NOT waste it on gameing and instead save it for a trip to Hawaii..

You would break a covenant put in place by the former Governor Perpich. We really need to simply cut spending on unnecessary entitlements. Sin Taxes, such as liquor and cig taxes hurt the ones who can least afford to be hurt anymore. The problem is the DFL leadership who claim to be for the "middle Class" don't understand that concept, so they continue to up those two and the gas tax. But thank God we have the DFL in there fighting for those poor bastards

UND and St Scholastica are great institutions of higher learning! UND has some pretty good hockey players as well. I am not sure Brett Hull was a juvey though!

The Native Americans will get over it. It's time we broke up that monopoly.
