I attend all the night that juantia visit in neworlean, la., at victory assembly. iwas truley bless. there was one night of her visit GOD use her in that visit. she told about her battle to get to New Orleans. Then she said the Lord show her that the city and the entire state needs to pray for peace because something was about to happen to new orleans would schock the nation. It would call all type of ministry would have to come toghter in one room. Well it came to pass beause I would say 6 to 8 months after visit hurricane Katrina tried to destroy New Orleans. Iwoul like to have that tape of her visit.h

This is a prime example of what happens when you worship the creation instead of the creator. Juanita Bynum is a great woman of God, but she is not God. Christians need to stop exalting and worshiping these leaders. They are not God, they are human just like us. This should not be a surprise, there are no perfect Marriages. It is time for Juanita to walk in faith and stand on everything that she has been preaching. God never promised us that it will be easy, but he said, he that endureth. SO that means that we are going to have trials and tribulations. And please remember, that there are two sides to every story. Dont just condem this man. We dont know all of the facts. None of us were in their home. None of us even know these people. I am Minister, and I know that the Christian world today does not walk in reality. There is no perfect world. Get over it. Now, stop passing Judgement on this man and pray for both of them. We dont know what Juanita did to him. Everyone has a boiling point. Manybe if Christians today would get more of God for themselves and stop running to people like Juanita Bynum, Paula White and TD Jakes, paying to hear the word of God, then maybe we will see a true move of God.

I have been following Dr. Bynum from 1999, GOD has used her tremendously, may He be glorified, what happen to Dr. Bynum can happen to any of us, our a female in our sphere. I am told as you go to levels and bounds in Jesus, you will have devils trying to bring you down or as the bible says sift us as wheat, I pray for her and I will watch to see what God Almighty will do in this Woman of Valor for His Glory, be encourage Dr. Bynum GOD has brought you through many, many, many hard trials and tribulation, a greater anointing I believe is in the waiting for you. I totally agree with you, I just told my co-worker that. We need to stop putting them on a pedistal and assuming they do not need counseling because of who they are! Stop waiting for these people to lay hands on you!!! get the word and go to God!!! Stop purchasing prayer clothese that wiped the foreheads of these people, God is your source! he uses the ministers as his instruments to get the word out, but we need to lean on God.

I agree with you Christian Brother. If we would learn how to follow God more than we do the preachers, this situation would not suprise us. The devil is trying to bring all of us down whether we are in the spot light or not. She happen to be in the spot light. Just pray for Jaunita and her husband. In "Teach Me How To Love" he did give his testimony that he had this problem he's not delivered yet. If we spend more time with God than we do with the tapes, DVD, videos, and TBN - we would here from God the same way Jaunita Bynum, Bishop Jakes, and all of the other great Men/Women of God are hearing from Him. I don't know these ministers very well but like most people has seen them on TV and heard their powerful messages. However friends these are human beings like all of us. Just ike I believe there is no room in this world for men who sow their oats all over and have children that they refuse to accept as thier own and consequently refuse to take care of, I also believe the same is true for men who beat their wives. I do NOT tolerate and vehemently OPPOSE any man who beat his wife. That man has no respect for himself or for the woman. How would he like for his son-in-law to beat his blood daughter like that? Just immagine the rage that would well up inside any man who's daughter is being beaten by their husband. Mr. Weeks need to spend some time ALONE and possible in the hands and confinement of the law while he consider his ways. This did not just happen. If he could do it in public I almost guarantee 100% he did it to some extend behind closed doors. These kind of people don't change easily - they calm down for a while but get right back into the "Hitting" business again. No woman need to stay with a man that think it's OK to HIT a woman: Thank God this is not my sister or family member - Mr. Weeks would be repremanded a long time ago. I pray that they both find peace in their lives and Practice True Christianity. Obviously tthe people that cousel them have a job to stare them in the right direction. No body wants a divorce but a MAN BEATING on a woman in NOT Acceptable.

The bible tells us that we must pray for those in authority over us. These are two ministers of the Gospel that are over us in some way or the other. We have to understand that the enemy is mad at the breakthroughs of the saints. And yes we have to know that they can never be left unguarded. These are the last days and it is ordained that evil will be looked upon as good. This is a time for Intercessors to arise and call out war on the enemy! Just bear in mind that they are not immortal but rather mortal man and women. It is not for us to judge them and also to know the why's but it is a time to seek the father on their behalf. It is God's will that none shall perish and suffer loss. As an Intercessor and Worship Minister I know what God likes and dislikes for his people.
Is this not a time to seek his face? Is is not a time to pray what is on His heart rather than offer up our selfish comments and criticisms. God and God alone is the revealer of secrets and he only reveals to those who have his heart. Let us use this instance to really make it right with our Father and sow a seed of love and compassion for both menisters.

How sad! I am definitely praying for and with them for healing and restoration.

A couple in ministry in my church is walking through domestic abuse on the behalf of the husband and they are now in the process of being restored, counseled, etc. with full accountability and scrutiny.

Currently, they have been separated for almost 2 years, but undergoing extensive counseling while the husband took time to face his issues. For a season, he even walked away from church and the Lord. But ultimately it ended up being so that he could come to grips with some hard issues about his upbringing, his inner wiring, mindset, etc. Even though he is saved and loves the Lord! We were praying for his return and restoration, and he did return and submit to spiritual leadership for his restoration.

Also, while they were separated, the wife also honestly looked at issues where she needed to grow and mature, and yes, where she could provoke her husband, although there is no excuse for a man physically striking a woman under ANY circumstances.

They are still being counseled by a more seasoned couple in ministry and walking baby steps toward full restoration so that they can once again share a home with their child. So I pray that if the Lord says the same, the Weeks will be able to endure the long journey of walking through forgiveness, self-examination, counseling and full reconciliation.

I serve in ministry and i know that ministers have the same emotions as anyone else, and have to work even harder to put them in check. But domestic abuse in the Body is a sad, sad reality that needs to be exposed.

Just because folks love the Lord doesn't mean they don't have an enemy who won't play on the weakness of their flesh! That's why praying, fasting, humbling oneself, being able to apologize, and acknowledging when one is wrong is soo necessary for men and women.

Prophetess Bynum had just finished the Women on the Frontline Conference, so I understand the devil was after her, but I am so sorry it happened.

It really hurts that it had to happen that way, but if the Lord allowed it, then it needed to be brought to light. So again, I am praying.

There is so much brokenness in the body of Christ. Unfortunately, this brokenness has been hidden for a long time. Many of us have worn the mask of Christianity while our lives are shattered, tattered and torn. Though my heart was deeply saddened to learn of this incident, I do believe in the truth of the Scripture that says, "And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose." There is no doubt as to the call on both Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum's lives. However, in retrospect, there may be some who have been going through marital problems. Suffering from this same type of internal abuse on various levels. It is my prayer that through all of this that both Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum have a testimony at the end of all of this for the glory and honor of God. A testimony of deliverance, a testimony that speaks to God's limitless ability to heal broken lives and marriages. I also hope at the same time that those who are going through a similar situation realize that only God...not man, not people, but only God can put the broken pieces of a life back together again. It is time for us to worship only God...for He alone is worthy.

After reading these posts I have come to the conclusion that virtually of of the followers of the "prophetess" are illiterate.

Their inability to put together even one or two correctly written sentences......their butchering of the English language....their absolutely abysmal grammar all serve to reveal their lack of education, and make it easy to understand why they are so easily deceived into willingly following any clown who bestows upon him/herself the title of "Bishop", "Prophetess", "High Priest", "God's Anointed One" or whatever other high-minded name they choose.

Yes there are two sides to a story, and we should pray for both of them. As a man you should never put your hands on a woman, you walk away. A woman is to be love not beat on, the same goes for men. We are to LOVE not HATE. On that night he let the devil take full control. I also pray that he will not blame anyone for his actions because bottom line they were his action. I also hope he can forgive hiself. Most important I hope his church family will liftup the Weeks family in prayer. As for people, you know the saying people will be people. Domestic violence occurs in the White House, the poor house, the crap house, the out house; the church house, the gin house...your house, my house--the pit, the palace! Race and religion have nothing to do with it. This situation is an indication that there is always a need for prayer regardless of our social status or religious prestige. The less we speak or write, the more we should pray.

If you want to abuse anything than abuse yourself.
