The only thing that I want to know is how you can have a husband and a wife on the same board with 1 other person and call the voting fair! And also how you can have a former person who lived at the house be on the board! Umm really!!! Something is really wrong here...If you have a husband and wife on the board add someone else so you have a fair vote and also anyone that lived at the house should not be aloud on the board unless they have been clean for at least 5 years! But then again it is Sullivan and just about everything done here is half ass I mean really look at our mayor!

Is there really a wife and husband together on the board with only one other person? I would think there should be some sort of rules against that. Wouldnt that leave the Luke house open for a lawsuit for some sort of ethical reasoning? It soulds to me like they are just asking for trouble. And how do they allow residents to be on the board? They are there for a reason!! Everyone in life makes their own choices and most everyone I know has made some sort of mistake at least once, but for the court to require someone to take residence at the Luke house and then give that person decision making abilities really baffles me. I agree with "REALLY", they should have been clean for at least 5 years AND be established in their community to be considered a board member!!!

I also agree with "u know". If the court orders someone to live there, how much is that really helping anyone? Knowing several people have been ordered to go and got their time done, and went straight back to what they were doing before they went to jail. I have heard people from there say they are not afraid to get caught and go back to jail, they can do the time standing on their heads. Sounds to me like between the money they charge their residents for living there and they kickbacks they get from government and charities, the board members must be doing pretty well for themselves!

Yeah the board members are doing a great job! Making money for themselves. Have you seen any money go back into that place? have you seen it actually help anyone? NO!!! But you dont see the board members suffering any now do you? The whole idea of putting a drug rehab house in Sullivan was a stupid idea to begin with! How many people have lived there since it has opened and how many of them are still clean?

Hey anyone who ever drove by that house a years ago notice the improvement I live close to the Luke house and I have not had one problem with it. As for slamming the people who put it together I wasn't aware that the Luke House cost the taxpayers one dime unlike our $200,000.00 a year animal shelter. Isn't it time we start thinking about humans in Sullivan as well as animals?

it may to be too early for that kind of data, but thats where i look. programs that are a "captive " audience always have those clients that are not in it for the right reasons.
