That place was a joke!! They made all the same 3 mistakes that other similar lounges make and it doomed them!(1) When they had a DJ, he would play CRAP and not play what anyone wanted to here!(2) When they had live bands, they would have the most boring bands available, like SOuthern Spirit...i think every place Southern Spirit has played has gone out of business!(3) No women there!!! So...crappy DJ's, boring bands and no women there...why would anyone go there??

This place quit being a nightspot, but was obviously poorly managed. They made same mistakes many clubs do...crappy DJ's, boring bands (they even had SOuthern Spirit...every place they have played has gone out of business), and ....they did nothing to get women to go there!! Very poorly managed!!! That is why i have posted about new nighspot should open in Duffield. Maybe have a small cover charge to keep out riff raff, have a few bouncers to eject troublemakers, have GOOD DJ's who will actually play what people want to hear (unlike places like Fizz), and have only GOOD bands!! Also, have things like "ladies nights" and things to attract more women there! Watta you think....maybe it could work!!

Duffield would be a really good place to have a club. The problem is that noone wants one here because they say it will cause to much trouble. My theory is that it will only cause trouble if the person who is the manager over it allows trouble to start. We need something for the working men and women to come in have a drink and have some fun, but this town looks down on the fact of wine, beer, and liquor being sold at a place like that. I honestly dont see what the difference would be than me driving down to one of the local stores and getting beer.
