I am beginning to think that the people who look at this forum don't know how to carry on a written conversation or they are just too chicken squat to say anything about their communities or their officials. HELLo, wake up, this is your Grenada, your Grenada County. This is where you do your shopping, your eating out, your drinking. What are you afraid of? If you have something to say, say it. But, if you're skeered, then say you're skeered.

People in the region seem to me to just not care. I don't think its that they're scared; its just that their opinions are completely discounted. A few families here own everything and will continue to impede progress for as long as they can. However, with growth comes an increase in crime.
If the only thing people here are going to raise hell about is a couple of magnolia trees that got cut down, then it is what it is. Personally, I'm shocked that someone sold the land for our 2 new drug stores here in Grenada. God forbid they have to pay taxes on the money they made...
