Horrible products. I spent 2900 for 2 of their systems and neither on of them worked as well as they A1 claimed they did. I have serious allergy's and so I cant be wasting my time and money on low end products or I am going to be miserable. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I received their "Play 3 Hands of Blackjack" card in today's paper in the Q.C. I supposedly have won $1,000. Nice if it were true! I'm not bothering to call about it because I don't want to buy an air purifier. I'm smart enough to know, my $1,000 winning would most likely be applied towards one of their products. What a scam.

I have tried several times to get the filters that I was promised when I bought the air cleaner and vaccuum cleaner. No one has returned my calls.

I beg to differ, I used both of the products with great success, when I walk into the room it smells cleaner and fresher, I feel it does work as well as stated

i got the black jack card in my local newspaper. i won a thousand dollars which they applied toward an air filtration system. it broke within 2 days. they came out and repaired it after numerous phone calls trying to contact them with no avail. the second time i had problems i finally was contacted a week and a half later by a representative who said they would gladly take care of any problems that i had yet with my product. it took two more phone calls to get someone out here. alas it didnt work like it did when it was first put in. i think they are scamming the public with this black jack game. DO NOT CALL THEM FOR ANYTHING. unless you really need an mp3 player.

We received the same Black Jack card, I have actually bought many products this way. I owned a Kirby for years, and that is the way that I bought it. I recently had a much worse experience with this current company. The gentleman who came into our house and did our demo was answering his phone, from family members while he was supposed to be talking with my husband and I. I have never met such a cocky, and brass individual in all of my life. My husband I went with the products anyway (My son has bad asthma). The salesman told us our prize would be shipped to us, not the case I guess. I called the company and made a complaint, then they said that our MP3 player would be sent out. The guy came back the next week, and took our products, it was a credit based decision. He came without any call or notification, and told me that our credit was bad. I find that hard to believe when we both have good credit scores. Anyway, not only was he rude to me, he barked orders at me in my own home, and he never asked us if we had any other options of financing. We do have a savings account, which we were going to use if credit was not an option. He was so rude to me, that I actually called my husband at work and started crying to him about the way that this man treated me. My husband was livid, and actually thought about going to Dubuque to speak with his boss. I do not think that the products are bad, they were actually very nice products. I would however only hope that no one gets Brian, as a salesman. I will be calling Kirby soon, I am sure that they will be professional and it will be the same quality product that I have come to love.

Every person has an excuse when they cant get something they want. My kids are the exact same way. Dont feel bad your not the only adult who likes drama like a teenager. Everyone who is in business wants to make money. Even if this company would have made $25 of this sale they would have took it. Your credit has got to be worse than a bus full of children driving off a cliff if you were declined credit, I mean even i got accepted. No company just decides they dont wanna make money today. Sorry lady but you must have been DECLINED, so start paying your bills and you wont have this problem.

I used to have a house cleaning business and have used all kinds of vacuums. I had an opportunity to use A1's vacuum cleaner and it is the best vacuum I have ever used. I highly recommend it!

I am a current associate at A1 Allergy in Indiana. And I'm not posting this to try and sell anyone because that's is not what our team or managers do. We simply give factual information on a great product and even demonstrate the technology for you. I apologize for any displeasing interactions with any associate. I can promise you that is not how we were trained by our managers. Company policy is to always be courteous and professional. And as far as the lady buying the kirby. You already claimed that the A1 system was a great product so why go back to a product that is harder to maintain and does absolutely nothing for your health or the health of your family? And financing of course. No matter what kind of income you have, as long as you have one, we will work with you. We have one of the best financing departments in the state.
I have worked for other product companies and was always uncomfortable with pushing the product because of false statements and gimmicks. I have 100% confidence in this companies products and use them myself. In my opinion completely worth the investment. Thank You

you must be paid well to sell the company line

He is paid well, as was I when I worked there. I felt horrible calling on the phone to complete a sale and forcing them into basically spilling there income with me on what they could afford even though alot of the houses I went to did not look like they could afford a $3,000.00 vacuum cleaner (air purifier) I believe in the product but I also believe that it is far to expensive. I wouldn't blame the staff, we would not be paid if we did not make the phone call which pushes the customer into at the least running their credit, even if they don't have money to pay for the product, granted they will post pone your payments but who really know's where they're going to be in 2 years time? We can all hope... but tough luck if you have a worse cash flow situation then when you signed your life away for a vacuum. Good luck to the staff... you guys were bigger than I could be, I felt horrible forcing people into spending that much, guess pressure sales was just not for me...

Thanks for the feedback. I just got the double Blackjack card and I won't be calling them. It always pays to do research before you act on something.

I also go the Black Jack card in the mail. I figured I'd call just to see how much BS it was. It took 3 transfers to get the right "department" and the lady I got, Christina, was very rude! She asked for my name, then I asked for details on this "promotion" and what strings were attached. She interrupted to verify I was a homeowner, which I am. She then started in asking me other personal questions and I asked what I had won. She got a huge attitude, told me I had to come in and claim my prize Mondays only 8-4 but had to bring proof of home ownership and a photo ID to the address on the back, then slammed the phone down. Completely worthless and I'm sure a total scam.

Pat I am suposed to have an interview on Tuesday. I am not so sure I am going to bother going. When I called them I asked for the job description and all he would tell me is it is in their marketing department. After reading all of these comments I do not think this would be the job for me. I had no idea that this was a vaccum cleaner sales person job. Just like I thought when I read the job add in the paper and it said $3100 per month I figured it was probably a scam. Did they tell you what the job intailed?

My husband just got hired by them.and he's suppose to get3700 a month. The job is paid weekly. From his description of it. They set up the demo and he goes in and shows the product and gives a pre written speal. He is not the salesperson only the kiosk manager so to speak. I feel like it sounds fishy but we need an income.I will encourage him to pursue other job options. This just seems to be a huge scam.
