5 years? That's it? How about 5 years and 10 additional years w/o a license?
How can people get behind a wheel and think it a good idea to do something other than pay attention? Agreed with "Should", you're driving a loaded weapon.

A couple of days ago, people were bad mouthing Motorcyle drivers(due to the icrease in fatalities due to Sturgis) At least motorcyclists keep two hands on the wheel.

ok, so video gamer gets five years but the Hmong guy that couldn't stop his Toyota recieved 8 years in prison for his sentence for what truly was an accident. I am glad the Prosecutor decided not to go forward with the re-trial and called for his release.

He is the one who got caught...only because he killed someone. Everyday you see people reading newspapers, texing, talking on the phone...not having a clue whats going on around them! How many more "accidents" need to happen?!

Distracted driving penalties should be the same as drunken driving penalties.
