I can honestly say I've never posed in front of the Hanna sign. Glad someone is doing it. That's getting the town on the map, if that's what you want the world to know about Hanna. It would be nice if the town were known as a nice place to live, with friendly people. Some of them are, but you can see that people can't let others think differently from them, so they blast them and denigrate them. Thanks to all the kind, friendly people in Hanna, and to the whiners and others: it's too bad the town is getting a bad rep, especially on the internet, from you.

With over 70% of the population of the United States being overweight, you have a lot of people to fight if you don't want chubbies. Richard, I defended you on some other posts, but I guess you're the kind to bite the hand that feeds you. Since that picture is not mine, none of you know how many extra pounds I'm carrying, and why should it matter? It doesn't affect the way I think, write, or perceive issues. The people who are overly concerned with the way other people look are ducking the real issues and trying (unsuccessfully) to distract from them. The real issue is that I don't agree with those people who say the old EMS and Fire Department were crooks and thieves, and that there is no evidence to support such. So far, no one has come up with any evidence that any of them stole anything. That is what bothers those folks the most and the fact that they have no real defense to offer for their misguided opinions. By the way, this thread was originally about football. So, back on topic: HEM played a great season, win or lose. We are proud of you for getting out there and playing for us, in all sorts of weather. We support you, team and coaches!

I think it's time to introduce a new law about cyberbullying to the council. This person has driven away a lot of decent people. If you google Hanna, there is a discussion about the town, along with some info on the town on the boards. One person told someone interested in moving here to look at the boards on topix first, to see what kind of place this is. Please contact City Hall and ask that the council address this problem.

So, its cyberbullying when people that live in Hanna are speaking their opinion and TRUTH? If I had never lived there, I would hope to God that someone would tell me about the place before I moved there(Just to get a heads up). But, you are on here pretty much pi**ed off because people inside of that little bitty, hate filled town are saying, "BEWARE".

Boy, did you miss the whole point I was trying to make. No, I think people should be aware of what this town is really like. I wish I had known before I moved here.
But keep in mind, it's a select few that make personal attacks on people on here, giving the whole town a bad name. Just look at the way someone is getting dragged through the mud in the Wild Wonder thread. Some people use these boards to settle personal vendettas, while hiding behind the keyboard. I couldn't care less what they say about me, my weight, or my butt. I'm not about to commit suicide over a few morons who have never seen me. It's interesting that I don't even work at the food market. Where did they all get an idea like that?
However there are many good people in Hanna out there. Just look at all the people who are decrying the denigration of others. Good for you all! Good for those who are trying to stop any kind of bullying. A law against cyberbullying is a great idea. There are vulnerable people out there that need people to stand up for them and stop the bullying. That's the Christmas spirit: love and help one another, build each other and our community up, not tear it down.
