Everyone. I have created a blog about the Ruston Water. Perhaps you should read and share with your friends. It is quite interesting and maybe we can do something about it. http://louisianainformant.tumblr.com/

Far healthier water than most of the nation. Best numbers I've seen for anywhere I have lived. Get a brita filter if you are that worried, however, you really should try toxic blue Algae water along the Ohio River, radioactive over-fluoridated water along the Savannah River, Sulfur water contaminated with oil in Florida. Your home pics are from hard water which is guess what, limestone, which is from where the underground water comes. Get some lime away. The water here is fine. Geez. Your poor housekeeping skills and knowledge is not anyone's fault but yours.

The last time I checked Hmm I was talking about Ruston. I never claimed I was knowledgeable. I merely stated the facts. I'm sure it is better than other places. So does that mean you should just accept the least contaminated and drink it? I think not. Do you drink it straight from the tap or do you buy bottled water? I agree, my pictures were of the faucet when it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Sometimes I get behind because of life's demands. Even after cleaning it's not great. I have a new filter that replaced my Brita by the way. Perhaps you are not very knowledgeable in that area because Brita doesn't filter most stuff. I don't recall calcium carbonate being on the sample list. Do have enough money to get a sample tested for everything? I sure don't. If you are so smart in this area then please write an article showing me how these chemicals are ok for you. It's obvious you don't give a crap anyways. Why don't you try to be an aid in the solution instead of hindering it or putting a band aid on the problem?

Anytime I hear anyone compare anything in/from this place to "the rest of the nation" I have to laugh. It ALWAYS seems to stack up well. I hear people refer to "the best in the country..." all the time and it makes me wonder how people, most of whom have never been elsewhere can make such assertions. By the way, did you see the recent reports on how Louisiana compares to the other 49 states in terms of standardized test scores and schools? Next to last, y'all. Must be something in the water down here. LOL.

Good ole Ruston propaganda. Everything here is awesome! Did you know Ruston has the highest number of millionaires per capita? I can't tell you how many times of heard that. Just shut up and drink the kool-aid!

And just look at the ego-centrism here:" Far healthier water than most of the nation. Best numbers I've seen for anywhere I have lived."

An anecdotal sample, consisting of only the places you have lived is now representative "most of the nation".

Get a filter then realize the incredible difference. Nowadays there's no telling, in spite of regulations, what is in water.

90% of the food bought has impurities in it. Canned, packaged, whatever. It's all for $$$$$$$$$$

People don't give a damn anymore. Will do anything for cash.

The only people that can make a change is US. We need non-GMO food that's not filled with mutated crap that gives us cancer. I'm going to Yak's out by South Parkway Church on 167 when they start getting some real vegetables in. There is no comparison to real home grown and prepared food. The government just wants us to drink their water and eat their processed food to make money and watch us die.

OMG you are stupid. Looks like you have personal cleaning problems. Perhaps you should check your own piping. No one else's does that and the hard water (from limestone-you moron) can be kept in check with less than once a month cleaning. That's quite a bit of getting behind. Wow. You have to be the laziest, dumbest person in the area and that's saying a lot. Gee, maybe you would have something else to do other than rant about things in which you don't know jack about (like my several hours of studying geology so yes, I know more about water supply than you do) if you cleaned that nasty house of yours.

Oh, gee, sorry. Did I forget to mention I did extensive studying of the nation's water in college. Prime example of a stupid, small tower who thinks they know something because they were edgimicated locally. Guess what, it's a big, big world outside of this place. Yeah, I mean passed Shreveport and Monroe.

I haven't been on this in months. I'm sure you inbreeders have houses to clean, children to feed, or even, Heaven forbid, jobs to do. Go do them and quit pretending you know something. I'm out, and guess what won't be back again in months. Sad that it won't stop your welfare rants. Why don't you do something positive for the world instead of being a tub of 300 lb goo who is cutting on people who actually work (you know when you are off your ass) at the water treatment plant.

"Extensive studying", huh? Based on your mechanics and grammar, I think you'd have a hard time convincing anyone that you have studied anything extensively (these forums don't count).

What were your metrics for determining that the water is "far healthier"? It would be interesting to see because, as you may have seen in the paper (I know you study a whole lot), several water treatment facilities in the area have recently been found to be out of compliance, having to send out mandatory notices to customers. It has happened to me several times in 8 years of living here, NEVER anywhere else I have lived. Maybe the problem is that the local standards are too high for that, too, huh? Just like the education system. Nobody else can keep up with #50!

Wow/Hmm. With all your posts in one day you obviously have nothing to do. I clearly stated the facts I've looked at. If you want to fight go to a bar. FYI I work +40 hrs. a week one hour away, try to maintain to 3 locations, go to church on Sunday, spend time with family, etc. You have no idea. I bet you still live at your parent's house or you are getting a check. If you studied the nation's water then you should know Louisiana has poor water quality. I have been outside of this country also if you must know. How about you put your money where your mouth is and send us a link to your study? If you know so much get busy and make a better supply! Oh you want to talk the talk, but not walk the walk. Just for you I am going to scrub my bathroom today. What are you going to do? Talk down to people because you are miserable? You are the lazy one and the idiot if you do nothing.
