The only thing good I can say about Mr. Tonko is that he always sends me a response letter when I email and/or call his office, mostly about the status of H.R. 1207: Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009. He supports this bill, however last action on it was a Committee Meeting in September, 2009.

Giving consideration to all the other things he supports:

1. The Wind Energy Research and Development Act of 2009 (in an alliance with GE) and voting in favor of the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, leads me to believe he is a staunch Cap and Tax supporter.

2. Supporting the public option in President Obama’s health-care reform proposal – opposing all other versions, such as cooperatives, individual mandates, and market-driven reforms. Need I say more?

3. Voted in favor of President Obama's federal stimulus package, I don't need to remind anyone of all the ramifications of this outrageous amount of spending, or that it's not working.
