bisco got a little out of had this year i have been going to festivals like this forthe past 4 years and i neversaw anything like this... many cheical research drugs were being sold as other things i was victim to it myself and i overheard a biker talking to the lady at the bathrooms saying 2 bikers died from liquor and valium and i also had 2 bikers come up to my group in the woods saying a girl named rachael dissapeard from mainstage and still wasnt found 2 days later. people dont unterstand there are coverups in festivals as well as murders take vibes 09 for instence wen they found a body wrapped in a tarp with his face burnt off from nitrous. It was way to hot at this festy too i stayed in the woods til it cooled off kids need to pace themselves. another thing you people dont know is that there is a loop hole festivals can get through to not say people died there. they hire private emts who take people from the venue to a hospital if they dont die on the grounds they dont have to say they die from there.

The rat poison rumor is actually true, a girl camping right next to me took what she thought was acid, it ended up being rat poison and she went into a coma, and we haven't heard anything since. There were definitely bath salts going around too, my friends watched some guy freak out and try to eat someone's leg.

My son attended and told me heard of several deaths. Why are we not hearing the news about this? Can anyone tell me what the deal with bath salts is? Are they being represented as drugs or taken as a drug? Bad information will shut these festivals down, the promoters have an obligation to get the word out. Peace and Love...
Your son doesn't know what he's talking about. We are not hearing news about this because it didn't happen. One person died... before the festival even started.. thats it. What's going to shut these festivals down is people like you spreading bullshit rumors about shit they have no idea about. And as for bath salts... they are for poor people who either can't afford quality product, or dumbasses that want to push their luck.

I'm not entirely sure if its true but I heard that there was rat poison in spray bottles that people were "dosing" random people with, causing comas and stuff... Any reports about that being true? I did notice way more ambulances hauling people away this year, as opposed to last year. But I figured anything I read on Facebook is considered a rumor til I see an article to go with it haha. Also heard bath salts were being handed out and passed off as other drugs.
Yes it is TURE! Not sure how it was being administered, weather it be by spray bottles or people dropping it into drinks...but it is VERY true. We have a very close friend currently in a coma at a local hospital. It is also not known if it was Rat Poisoning but it has been determined that it was poison. Seeing how this person is still in a coma we will probably never know exactly what happened, but every symptom this person exhibited were definite signs of Strychnine poisoning. There were around 47 people brought into the hospital with similar symptoms and several unreported deaths.

One part of all this is the fact that in searching the internet and listening to the news none of this has been reported. There were not just people at Bisco partying and having a good time. There were murderers there, yet there are no reports or consequences for these people.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a good time, but Bisco has gotten out of control and something needs to be done about it!

i worked security and there were indeed at least 2 deaths. we also had calls go out on our radios to look for rachel. 5'6", last seen in a black bra and pinstripe skirt. she wasnt found by the time we left Sunday. Wednesday night there were sirens everywhere, they didn't allow people in until 9pm wednesdaay. How are you going to say those were from heat exhaustion? Bisco is aand shit show. It sucks being associated with such heavy drug use because of the music I like. And everyone's lack of knowledge on bath salts is hysterical. They are just designer drugs and there are thousands of types.

The poisoning is not a rumor, I was at ellis all weekend and it was like a revolving door of kids in comas having seizures and heart attacks. OTHER festivals are not like this and the lack of news coverage is insane. The helplessness of only being able to pray for a family member to pull thru is one of the worst and indescribable feelings. Music festivals are the only place I have experienced an over all positive loving atmosphere in a gigantic crowd of people, it is beautiful to feel, and it makes me sick that people who are drivin by money will take others lives without any consideration and potentially ruin it for the rest of us. reading articles on the internet and watching breaking bad doesnt make you a chemist.

I was there also and I got will admit I was one of the shitheads partying it up. I saw ambulances running all day Friday. you can't deny the culture of that festival. I was the biggest shit show I have ever attended. Phish concerts have less hard drugs in their lots. The bikers that run the show only really crack down on Nitrous and a few other drugs because it takes form the festival economy. I think that fest should be shut down. This is coming from a guy who goes to a festival every weekend.

I agree with you completely. There were so many research chemicals on lot being passed off as MDMA or MDA. We brought our own tester kits and only found real MDMA one time out of probably 40 test. The bikers that run that show only care about the money they are making they don't give a shit about the people dying. I heard from the leader or whatever you want to call their fake as MC's own mouth. The only thing they said they were worried about was getting their land taken from them which is ironic because it's a reservation. It's all about the money to them. That was my first and last year there. Worst show I have ever been to. Only good thing about it was catching Skrillex. Moe-Down in a few weeks though see ya'll there

Just did a bit of research: 1 dead, 35 taken to hospital, 12 of whom hospitalized, "most" of which were drug related, meaning at least 7.

Out of 25k attendees, that's damn good. So while I know Bisco has a reputation for being "the worst for drugs," it doesn't deserve the rep. I am friends with some people that have done security at ILCC, and they consider camp bisco attendees to be one of the best groups they've ever had as guests.

To settle an argument last year, we called the state and local police, and at least while Camp Bisco has been at ILCC, this represents the first death, and given that it was not an attendee but a vendor two days prior to the event, they can still claim in all sincerity to not have lost a concert-goer. In contrast, a smaller event, Identity Fest, had two deaths this weekend.

To give you an idea of how security likes to exaggerate and mess with attendees, at Camp Bisco Six they were convincing naive attendees that a brief, but powerful, wind storm was a tornado that touched down in the camping fields. As someone originally from tornado alley, I laughed until I had tears in my eyes.

I've seen worse statistics from football games. I've seen worse statistics from college parties with only a few hundred attendees. Camp Bisco is rather tame in comparison to many other events.

There's no such thing as an "unreported" death, even if not covered by the media. And there were no death certificates issued. You've got to be bat**** insane to believe the local officials would cover it up -- many of them would gleefully be shouting from rooftops to try and shut ILCC down.

Only 35 were taken to the hospital AT ALL. Only 12 hospitalized. 23 treated and immediately released for things like dehydration and heat stroke.

Um no, its a big enough crime, murder and attempted murder of double digit amount of ppl. It would compramise an investigation that is persuing. So no, its not going to be in the news for a little while. Pray for my friend who is currently in a coma because the poison was in water guns and slipped into peoples drinks!
Noone was getting dosed with rat poison Jesus people believe anything that they hear. And when people walk around with "dose me" on thier chest and backs you better believe shit is gunna get weird.

I have attended many festivals and EDM shows over the past few years and have seen some unbelieveable shit go down. This was my first and possibly last year going to Bisco. There was absolutely more than one or two deaths for sure. The people that agressively defend Bisco have no right to do so. There is no way that out of a group of 25,000 people, a lot being ravers, hyped up on all types of drugs with barely any sleep and in terrible heat, that only one person died. You better believe it was well over that. They absolutely need to have better security, the bikers didn't do shit. Bath salts were a common problem at Bisco as well as fake Acid. Yes you should use a test kit and be very careful when buying from strangers but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Overall the crowd had good vibes but I do believe the amount of drugs being used, sold and given out is outrageous. Of course my friends and I did them as well but we are older and damn smart about it. One of my neighbors overdosed and had to be taken onto a stretcher and held down by 10 bikers and later on was rushed to the hospital. My other neighbors were some dangerous dudes and a female friend I camped with was afraid to sleep due to their mean behavior towards her. One of them didn't sleep at all during the event and casually smoked dmt like it was pot regularly. Bisco was a great experience for us chill folk but there were some sketchy, sketchy people there.

You say "Peace & Love" ... Camp Bisco is the most friendly and enjoyable time one could ask for. Don't say things about an event you have not attended.

I've been working at Camp Bisco for the last 5 years, and I'm not talking low level position. I work directly for the Biscuits and MeatCamp. Since we've been at ILCC there has been only 1 death and that was this past summer. All the rumors about multiple deaths are either morons making things up (like the kid on shrooms who claimed to see someone die) or rumors spread by staff to keep people aware of the dangers. There were many close calls, and now that there are many more Bassnectar and Skrillex fans (read morons) then Biscuit fans we have more people who don't know their limits. But there was only 1 death, I am as official a source as you can get without checking the death certificates, which you can do as well as they are public records.

Bily was also not a volunteer, he was paid staff in charge of specific event. The medications found with him were all legally prescribed to him, the Oxy for knee surgery he had and the Xanex for anxiety. Unfortunately he made the mistake of having a few drinks as well. He did not overdose, he suffocated. This is very unfortunate circumstances about a very close friend (I would even say family member) of mine. Most of you have no idea what you are talking about in this thread.

This is most certainly not the promoters fault. I am sure people were selling different research chemicals as Molly. It happens more and more in this day and age. If freedom were legalized it would solve a great deal of these issues. As is stands now, the legal research chemicals are FAR MORE DANGEROUS than the illegal psychedelics. MDMA, LSD, DMT, PSILOCYBIN, and weed have no business being illegal. I don't even use drugs anymore, but the psychedelics changed my life in immeasurable ways. I had someone a few years back sell me some random pill claiming it was MDMA. It happened to be a super potent psychedelic that felt comparable to taking 1000 micrograms of LSD. It blew me out of the water completely, and I disintegrated into oblivion right after the walls of reality shattered around me. I was not ok for almost a week. Stay safe, and may love, knowledge, light, and intelligence prevail within you all.

There is something very strange going on with this festival. There is some sort of cover up. I've been there for camp bisco x 11 and 12. And I know more than one person has died. I want the truth. This is really getting under my skin.
