Michigan UIA not paying you..

Just trying to verify what i heard... I am currently unemployed and as normal i call and certify on monday and i have my check direct deposited and it hits my bank on Wednesday. This week that did not happen. Today being thursday and i still have not received my money. I called the UIA after an hour straight of redialing might i add, i got someone and was told that there was large problem with people certifying on monday and not getting there money and it hopefully would come in by tomorrow. Has anyone had a similar situation this week? specfically people that cert'ed on monday?

The same exact thing happened to me yesterday. I was told that they were "hoping" to have the problem solved by Friday. However, it's Friday and the money is still not there.

did you make sure marvin said "goodbye". If you still havent got anything you really need to contact the state and speak with them.

Yes he said good bye and, I don't hang up on it, I wait for it to disconnect from my cell. What was weird is it said the check would be issued in 10 days. I usually have it direct deposited the next day.

I has been taking up to six weeks, I filed on April 23 and still haven't received any money two months later. I don't know how they expect people to be able to make it.

You need to call in ASAP. If you filled online and any information is wrong like the employer ID the information will not process on the states end and then you get a application for unemployment that is sitting in limbo. Process usually takes 2 weeks.

It might be hard to get through but you need to call.

Has any one went back to work and when the went to certify that you were back to work IT went threw the normal questions and then said your "check" ( mine is DD 24 hrs later) would be mailed within 2 buisness weeks .???? And now UIA is wondering why i havent called for my money since the 5th of july.

Remember Ronald Reagan? I'll bet if you were working at that time you never made so much money, worked as much overtime and paid less taxes than ever. Be honest. I called MARVIN at my scheduled time on Tuesday 8 Am, Instead of my normal comment of your payment of $xxx.xx will be issuied the following buisness day this time it said, you check will be mailed within the next 10 business days, why is this??
