Yes that is wonderful. If it was really going to happen. As always the Twiggs County B.O.E. will find a way to screw us out of it again. They are determined to try to get us to believe they are doing what is best for the children. One day they will GROW UP and realize we are not the stupid ones. We need to pull together and not them BULLY us around anymore. REMEMBER THESE ARE OUR CHILDREN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, and also the north end of Twiggs County's Property value. NO SCHOOL IN THIS DISTRICT, NO-ONE WILL WANT TO COME HERE. I for one cant blame them.

You are exactly right. Hopefully the new members of the board will help.

In 2009 we are still waiting on Dry Branch to reopen their doors. The BOE has no intentions of reopening this school. Their agenda has always been to get all the schools in Jeffersonville and keep it that way. What the north end of Twiggs County needs to do is open a Charter School for all grade levels. Not only will the property values soar, the entire county will see this end grow at a rapid rate. The biggest reason no one wants to move to Twiggs County is the same reason we are looking to move out, Jeffersonville Middle and High School! Even if Dry Branch was to reopen it would be only for the grammar school students, then what? Private school? How many of us have that kind of money these days? This side of the county should band together and get Dry Branch reopened as a Charter School for grades K-12. Should this happen we would be pressed to contain the growth we would see.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Keep well clear of anything or anyone that looks like being a problem, but at least you can hold your own. This is a marvellous day for taking care of someone who isn't very well at the moment or who needs all the sympathy and understanding you can give them.
