Are we to be sympathetic, viewing convicted sex offenders as victims of our society's laws and policies? Should we change our laws and policies to allow them to live normal lives? Or are things getting a bit turned around here? What about their victims? What laws or policies can we change to allow them to live normal lives? The consequences of the sex offender's actions will last a lifetime. That is their doing. They need to live with that.

Yes should be to some. Some cases the victim is the accused. The laws are bullshit. Is a 18 yrs caught with a 17 yrs old punishable for life? Young peeping tom with a crush? Point is Sometimes it's not as bad as it's been made out.
