Can anyone tell me why disasters in Texas are ignored in the rest of America? I'm a Texan living in GA for a long time. Hurricane Ike destroyed my family's home, nothing here on Ike. Nothing mentioned during the "tropical storm" Irene, just Katrina, et al. Now my family is in jeopardy with fire. Nothing about it on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX. NOTHING. When Gov. Perry appeared on The Early Show and Fox, all the "reporters" wanted to talk about was Michele Bachmann and political matters. If the event isn't on the East coast or the West coast, it simply doesn't matter. Thanks, "Media."
