Bad news, bad news: Recently a loocal TV station did a great educational news story about how much and how many benefits a poor family can probably get; with the help of knowlegeable empathetic sympathetic advocates and professional poverty people, no doubt. The final total was more than $87,000 in annual aid and benefits and programs per year! Oh, dear! I fear that the downside and aftermath of this TV news story, was informing even more professional poor folks and their enablerd about some of the government benefits that they may have mistakenly been missing. Professional poverty hurts, but it sure beats work!
