DAYTON, Ohio -- Dayton Civil Service Director Giselle Johnson has resigned her position.

The Dayton Daily News says that she was asked to resign Thursday morning or be fired. Her resignation is effective April 18. Johnson will be on paid administrative leave and use vacation time until then.

Johnson leaves as the U.S. Department of Justice rejects her department's recommended passing score for police and fire recruits because not enough minorities passed the exams.

That ruling will delay the city's planned test for firefighters April 2. It comes after the city spent over $600,000 settling a lawsuit over the exams and recruiting more minorities.

In addition, Johnson fell out of favor with fellow board members.

Dang!

She should have looked at the Product the Dayton City Schools are turning out and DUMBED DOWN THE TEST.
Given points for getting your name right.
Lowered the "passing grade" to the same passing grade the schools use so "no child is left behind".

I don't want to buy what Dayton Builds.

Well, can you work from dad's couch? If so, you could telecommute. You'd have to stop stalking people on the internet first. But yeah, get a job you bum!

Whitefalcon, are you reading this? This is what Dayton does, lowers the passing score requirements in order to hire minorities.

With Eastway having so much of their budget cut, they will be releasing a lot of their "customers" to fend for themselves.

Eastway gonna cut you loose and then YOU will have to get a job.

I'm sure that you'll have no trouble with no transportation or job skills.
I work for a local Concrete Supply Company and darlin' if you can't find it, that's a good thing as far as I can see.

This will be your first job in YEARS and YEARS, if that Bounty Hunter By Bus thing doesn't work out for you.
