2-year-old mauled to death by family dogs

A two-year-old boy has died after being mauled by two of his family's dogs outside his home on Tucson's southwest side.

Why would anyone with small children have aggressive dogs uncontained?

I feel that some negligence falls on the parents.

I feel VERY VERY sorry for the family that lost the little boy..HOWEVER, this child was left UNATTENDED outside at the age of 2????? The person that was responsible for this child should be charged..for neglect. the dogs were in their OWN yard, TIED up! this child, AGAIN, UNATTENDED walked onto thier property. I dont think the dogs need to lose their life, just because people were to lazy to go outside with the boy and watch him!

There is something to be said about reading this article. For one, how are people allowed to have dogs they treat so inhumanely as chaining them up. This not a healthy environment for dogs. And two, what does it say about allowing children to be born and raised in the same environment. What I would like to know is how people can be so uncaring and irresponsible. Drugs?

Peggy, it was the neighbors dogs in their own yard when a little boy UNattended too, came into the yard through some wooded area.
