Your sentence structure is laughable.
When you lower yourself to judging others spelling and grammar it's evident you have already lost your argument and have nothing else to offer.

This rather brilliantly cuts thru all the political doublespeak we get. It puts it into a much better perspective. Lesson # 1:* U.S. Tax revenue:$2,170,000,000,000 * Fed budget:$3,820,000,000,000 * New debt:$ 1,650,000,000,000 * National debt:$14,271,000,000,000 * Recent budget cuts:$ 38,500,000,000 Let's now remove 8 zeros and pretend it's a household budget:* Annual family income:$21,700 * Money the family spent:$38,200 * New debt on the credit card:$16,500 * Outstanding balance on the credit card:$142,710 * Total budget cuts so far:$3.85 Got It ????? OK now Lesson # 2: Here's another way to look at the Debt Ceiling: Let's say, You come home from work and find there has been a sewer backup in your neighborhood....and your home has sewage all the way up to your ceilings. What do you think you should do ...... Raise the ceilings, or pump out the crap? Your choice is coming Nov. 2012.
That is a pretty good post except for one thing....the choice in November is not as you outlined. If it were the "choice" there would not be one. Instead the choice is do we raise the ceiling and use that credit card to pay for Social Security and Medicare for Grandma and Grandpa, to help pay for college for Junior and the twins, to help Aunt Sophie and Uncle Dan with their hospital bills through Medicaid, and help get their kids some food with Food Stamps. OR do we want to raise the ceiling and use the credit card to give the rich guy around the corner a bonus he does not need or want, start a war in Iran and buy Junior and the twins the most modern weapons to help fight it.
Either way, the ceiling gets raised, the difference is one scenario helps average Americans to float slightly above the sewage, the other leaves those Americans up to their necks in sh!t.

If we feed poor people, they are just gonna want to keep eating. Its crunch time. We don't have the luxury of all your kumbaha sentimentalities. Tell Junior to get a dang job. And if Junior didnt have his college money put away by mommy and daddy then there really needn't be the twins in the first place so that is on their idiot parents for breeding and not feeding. Uncle Sophi and Uncle Dan ought to be paying their own way too. There is enough to take care of mamaw and papaw.

That is silly. Obama was the one behind forcing that back into the platform over the solid objections of the delegates. He was criticized on this forum for doing just that.
The Republicans can't have it both ways though....I guarantee you they will try (and some who pay less attention to politics than many on this thread will probably believe them).

Social Programs, do not need to be axed. They do good for those who really are in need. The elderly, disabled and vets.
The way they are implemented is the thing. They need to be regulated closely, and those responsible for over seeing their distribution, need to be held in full accountability. Right down to County level.
Fraud and waste is the biggest problems.

Well if I were him, I would start with the obstructionist tea party members in congress.
Obama was hired by the public to fix the mess he inherited from "W". The Republicans wasted the last few years blocking everything he wanted to do and now want to blame him for not delivering.
Next time you are sick, go to the dctor, and do not do anything he tells you to including filling the prescriptions he gives you...then if you do not get well, you can blame the doctor !!
FDR faced similar problems and the Repubicans extended the Great Depression as a result of their foolishness. Faiure to study history is a real problem with America.

OT, Please.
Obama read and approved the first draft of the Democratic platform. He signed it before it was sent out for approval of State delegates.
He knew he omitted God and Israel. When he signed that first draft.
Only after questions were raised. Did he state "it was against his beliefs". Then had them reinstated. No denying that.

I certainly agree with that. The thing is...no matter how good a job is done eliminating waste and abuse (and we have NOT done a very good job) one or two bad apples will ALWAYS beat the system and give ammunition to those who are so uncaring they would let the hungry starve, the sick die and take the cardboard box away from the homeless.
there are some in life, and it would seem MANY on this thread who think they are immune from hardship, that they will NEVER need help from anyone.....well as one gets older some things get clearer, and even the mighty fall.

I posted Links , last night, that backs up everything I've posted. If you had any interest in learning the truth or in anybody , but yourself, you would have read them. But, since it's obvious you didn't, or you wouldn't persist in making such a fool of yourself by posting such ridiculous comments and Lies...I can only surmise that you prefer reaming ignorant, out-of-touch with the Real World, and content with gazing at your horrible image in a mirror and envying Others' because they don't look as bad as you do! Blame your genes or what you have done to yourself, instead of being jealous and criticizing others' who look better than you. But, most importantly , SHUT UP about other People's appearance, I'd bet money that none of them look as bad as you do and I know None of them have the repulsive personality that you do nor are as SHALLOW as you are!

Well my friend there are Republicans with that desire and ability, and I know many of them !
The tea party group....not so much. I know a couple who are both truthful and have the ability to articulate it !
For the rest, they are easily led by those who would mislead them to get the result they desire in November.
My neighbor is a founder of the local tea party. He has supported every candidate that was ahead in the Republican primary...until Mitt...he says he is NOT voting in the election ! If he doesn't....I will add him to the list of those who can and do tell the truth.
