red tape and an IQ of about 97.

It would be easier to win the lottery.

They were the ones that put us all in this situation.

Their underwriters loaned money to everything that had a pulse.

Us taxpwyers bailed them out, why won't they help the ones that need it. Wells Fargo is one of the worst ones to deal with.. I had a asked for help with them and after 5 mos & finally getting ahold of their presidentail office was told I did not qualify for the help I had requested as my home loan was not a fannie mae or freddy mac . They know it from the start but kept telling me they are working on it. The White House needs to stop all thses forclosures make these banks help people there is like over 500 thousands homes in forclosure nation wide. where all these folks going to live on the steets

They are both so right about the banks. I haven't seen anyone who has gotten a loan modification from the bank. Too many people are in trouble because of our great government (Obama, Pelousi, Reid, all the others) who think they can spend and make things work better. We don't need to spend, we need to quit spending and cut back. Giving the banks all that money was stupid and wrong. They only did that to save their investments they had. Heaven knows, they wouldn't want to go broke, what would they do, but any of us it doesn't matter if we are broke and living on the streets. Well....they won't be collecting their precious tax dollars to spend if we aren't working. Those are the ones that have an IQ of 97. Shame on the government leaders that we put in office and they are doing things to the very people who elected them. I have said all a long, I just don't know why they didn't pay off the peoples mortgages and the banks would have gotten their money and the people would have their homes and the whole country would be functioning better. People would still have had money to buy a few things to keep business going. Have you looked around on the streets at how many business are closing? That doesn't count all of the self employed people that have shut down their business because of all of this crap. It is very sad that we let this happen in this country. It is up to all of us to get this mess straightened out in November and keep it straight from now on. Fire all of those guys.....vote them out of office. Give our country a new start. Go NHRAP, I would love to help you out with this one and so will a lot of other people.

How do we get in contact with NHRAP? My house is going on the auction block in 2 weeks because of Bank of America and the "Making Homes Affordable" garbage. I have sent in the forms four times now and enough is enough.

I've worked with JP Morgan Chase, Citibank and Washington Mutual (before it went under) for years... I've yet to modify a single loan.

It is disturbing that the banks and other financial institutions who created an environment for financial crisis take away hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars, force homeowners out of their homes to foreclosures and short sales and then, will end up providing high interest loans to the same taxpayers they took aid from. It's time the masses, those of us who vote, create legislation that does not protect the powerful and ensure the destruction of the middle class and, over a few years, our country as we've known it.
