Just love the cognitive bias...what maintenance costs are currently incurred with lot 4? And I have seen many properties that once had buildings on them become conservation easements....at no cost of upkeep.
Who is reaching who in this debate; who is getting a bone thrown their way behind the scenes in this debate?
IT IS a world class view to come into this valley and see The Stanley Hotel framed by open space and backed up by Lumpy Ridge. It sets the tone for many a visitor and cannot be bought at any price.

Job creation for who? And who's licking your lower posterior to support this development? You obviously haven't seen the list of anticipated jobs supporters of the Wellness Center claim will be created. Are you a custodian, grounds keeper, desk clerk, etc.? This is listed as approx. 6-8 jobs on a list of 45 (not the 55-60 as claimed by proponents). All others are skilled professionals which will have to be filled by personnel from off the mountain. It's amazing the deceit imposed by a self chosen few to further their agenda.
