Please Please Please tell us exactly what the 50-60 well paying job positions are that you so highly advocate and their commensurate salary's. You surely must have this well figured out by now. As for increasing tourism, please also tell us how it will increase tourism. I can see it now---"Hey honey, let's go to Estes Park and see all the new buildings on Lot 4".

And why the need to increase tourism when they want to reconfigure downtown roads to ease existing traffic? And add parking structures to handle existing visiting cars. When is enough, enough?
Estes is visited because it is a quaint little town with charm, visitor words not mine, and bordered by RMNP.Lets keep this lot 4 debate out in the open, where we can size it up for what it is and go from there.

It seems to me that this would ruin the ambiance of The Stanley. There has to be a better place - please find it!

My first concern relates to the municipal election. It should be EASY for all eligible voters to cast their ballot. The choice to hold a required poll election on this issue is clearly designed to suppress votes. It is specifically directed toward the elderly population that will be prone to vote against the sale of Lot 4. The extra time and effort to complete and submit an absentee ballot application, wait to receive the absentee ballot, then complete and submit it - it NOT an easy process. And there are many elderly voters who will not be physically capable of making the trip to Town Hall to cast their vote in person. This strategy planned by the Town Board, Town Clerk and EP "elites" in favor of the sale is very troubling and should be brought to the attention of the Colorado Attorney General. This is just not right.
