God creates people he doesnt kill them. I hope to God no relative of yours ever gets addicted to drugs sounds like you will kill them rather than help them.

Maybe if you spent more time educating your addict friends, family and co workers about the dangers of drug abuse instead of spewing your thoughts here, you could actually help someone.

A disease which they voluntarily caught with their own stupid decisions. I feel bad for elderly people who catch the flu, not younger people who "catch" the drug habit.
Addiction may turn into a disease, but is not a disease when they initially ignore EVERYTHING they have ever been told about drugs and go ahead and use them anyway. Thats not a disease, that just plain stupid selfishness.

another thing

DRUG USE IS NOT A DIEASE ITS A LIFE STYLE! CANCER IS A DIEASE, DIABETES IS A DIEASE, DRUG USE IS AN ADDICTION. The little kids in the cancer ward at the hospital didn't choose to get cancer, A DRUG USER CHOOSES TO TAKE DRUGS.......
Any one who thinks differently should be hung for being a complete idiot!

I dont think drug use is a disease, I do know the perscription drugs today that are getting in the hands of people of all ages availabe from drug dealers and their parents medicine cabinet are so addictive that all it takes is a stupid descison at a party one night to trust a friend and take a pill and you are all done you become a full blown addict by mistake. These addicts that want help are discriminated against by the insurance company and cant get the help they need to recover. This has become a major problem in all communitys and in all high schools. I know a 70 year old woman who had surgery and was given oxycontin under a doctors care and became addicted by mistake she was horrified she was lieing to the nurses and telling them she never recvd her dose of medicine because she had built up a tolerance and needed more. Opiates are deadly and should be discontinued, when someone can no loner get that pill they turn to heroin. What we need is a better understanding on how to help these people and stop it.

Drugs are indeed everywhere, it is up to the schools, and especially parents to drill in our young kids about drugs and the dangers, the little education these kids are getting today is not working.

Drugs, booze, perscriptions they are all the same. your drug use may not have caused you to hurt anyone yet but unfortunately it will some day. Hopefully you stop before that happens

Kids today are getting high on other peoples perscriptions, I swear they think its legal and non addicting. The parents and schools need to bring this to their attention.

Bragging that you're out now? Really cool! Looks like you learned a lot! I'm pretty sure they can stop you, you can't work barely any decent jobs, you are probably drug tested and/or have to report to a probation or parole officer. You're probably just as stupid as when you went in, if not more. And I bet you're always looking over your shoulder, wondering when will I get taken back to jail and not be with my mommy? You're a loser and a low life, that will NEVER change. My friend knows you from Lowell and says you have an std, did you catch that before..or after you got out? Hope you're probation officer sees you for what you really are, an arrogant child who thinks that he's a tough guy now that he's done a little jail time. Send him upstate and let's see how he does there. No need to even worry about this one, I'm sure he will be back in before no time. Or get some poor young girl pregnant and our tax dollars go to his drinking, drugging, housing, smoking, etc. What a waste of flesh.
