I actually know all the kids involved and it was a stupid decision and now they will pay the price. You do the crime you do the time and they are willing to do that. HOWEVER how dare anyone try to say the parents are at fault. I have worked with more troubled kids that come from "perfect families" than kids that come from messed up families, and if your in denial when it comes to that you need to check yourself.......
I have to agree somewhat all it takes is one stupid mistake, good kids sometime get with the wrong kids the wrong crowd, and make wrong decision

for the record, as bad as these charges are and as much as he deserves his sentence, whatever it may be, Jeremy Hogan has always been a good kid.
As a classmate, he was a hard worker and an awesome friend to me. He got caught up in drugs and everything went downhill.
So far as his parents go, I never met them personally, but I know his mother refuses to talk to him because she lost a lot of money she'd been saving for a rainy day due to Jeremy's actions.
All I know is Jeremy's too pretty for prison and should've known better. I just hope that all of the programs in prison help him out. Every seventeen-year-old has the opportunity to mess up, Jeremy just took advantage of it and it's kicking him in the teeth.

Sounds like He NEEDS a good kick in the teeth.

Never mind rehab. They should be sterilized so that they can not reproduce. Losers breed losers. Let's end the cycle.
No one wakes up one day and decides to be an addict. No one thiks it can happen to them. I hope it never happens to you. Parents are not the blame. No parent ever tells their kids to become an addict. No matter how much you educate your kids alls it takes is one liar who is jealous of you and determined to bring you down to talk you into taking a walk on the dark side. I hope you dont have a kid or a relative who becomes an addict and needs your help because you are heartless and will never understand. Good luck to anyone who knows you.

To bad someone didnt stay on him and get him off the streets. I hope Jeremy will learn from this and will realize he has a choice to become a person again. You cant blame the parents no one really has the answers on how to help an addict.

If she was on drugs, shame on her. You would think he would of tried to do everything in his power not be like her. Better yet if people knew this about her they could of stepped in and taken him away from her. No matter what happened its sad for him.

kk first of all... jeremy is my husbands best friend.. jeremy is an awesome kid.. he just got caught up with some losers and got into hardcore drugs. and his mother never brought anything near him. she's an awesome parent. it's just that pelham is a scumbag town and most of the kids in it are druggie losers that will never amount to anything. hopefully jeremy will get his help when he is in rehab starting next week. my husband sure as hell straightened his act. i think when jeremy eventually faces jail for a few weeks.. he will too. for parents in pelham.... watch your kids a lot closer. =[

Yeah Jeremy sounds like a great kid. He's just LUCKY he didn't beat up one of my family members! What a moron. When I was a teen, we NEVER did SH*t like that. What the hell is wrong with these kids??? I understand that they have more pressure than we did, but we dealt ... We didn't rob and we certainly didn't beat up our elders. What a sad world. I really hope this boy learned a lesson that can turn his life around.

The drugs today are far more addictive then they were when you or I was growing up. None of these kids think they can become addicted.
Did you know that it only takes about three swallows of oxycontin for you to get addicted and when they cant afford that they use heroin because its cheaper, that drug is so driven that the addict commits any crime to get money to feed the addiction. If they are not stopped they will die or end up in jail. People need to understand that these addicts didnt become addicts on purpose. We need to be concerned with how this perscription drug is so available on the streets and in our schools.

I hope he is in rehab longer than 7 days the insurance companys suck and they think that 7 days is enough and it is not. They need at least 30 to 60 days and not many people can afford to put their kids in private rehabs. Insurance companys need to start covering long term rehab again.Best of luck to him

Great job by local police in a quick arrest of this gang of robbers. The local business community was concerned with recent break ins and robberies in town. This arrest will leave a number of us feeling safer as we conduct our business in our community. Thanks!

When such mind altering drugs get a hold of you, you dont care about anything but your next high. That is why people need to educate themselves and hope these drugs dont get a hold of your household.

Do you know what your even talking about...Losers as you say have drug problems..I know many people addicted to drugs, my own family friends co workers. You name it, let me enlighten you, parents of drug abusers and alcohilics may or may not have had a problem. They have a DIEASE. If some one in your family had this problem you'd think alot diffrently. Get educated before you speak idiot.
