LMFAO! Well thanks for entertaining the first half of my work day! Any other interesting forums yall frequent? ive got 4 more hours...
And jus want to add something... i have been approached on appleton street by an elderly man, while i was walking by store 24, en route to the train station. The man was clearly in his 70's (or 80's) and i was about 19 and 6mos pregnant with my 1st child. He had asked me "what do u like to do for fun?" and things along the likes of that. When i told one of my friends that a 70 yr old man hit on me and i was grossed out. He said "he was probably a pimp! u were on Appleton street!" Which couldve been true but grossed me out even more!....
And there have been a few other times i have walked from the train station, or from santoro's and have had cars slow down n lower their windows to try to talk to me, or men on foot follow me all the way down appleton to central saying "excuse me? excuse me Miss!" and once i turn off appleton they dont follow. Im glad i dont walk anymore, and though its not uncommon for men to beep or try to talk to me when im walking (like beeping or whistling)....but to follow me when im walking so fast im almost running, or to actually pull over and try to get me to their car....its kind of scary! i dont even look if im being whistled or yelled at....if u dont know my name to call to me, i dont need to know who you are!

The two most common elements in the universe are hydrogen and stupidity. And very little is as stupid as a man thinking with his little head instead of the one sitting on his shoulders.

Hi Educated, you totally hit the nail on the head. The problem with prostitution is that in certain areas of the city, every woman walking down the street is assumed to be a prostitute. That's not exactly how most of us non-prostitutes wish to be treated while in public going about our own business. These men who frequent these streets to try to pick up prostitutes are pretty sick, judging by how they attempt to interact with the woman they see. Because of my own experiences with the same crap that you mentioned, I LOVE it when they nab the johns. It feels good to envision that some of the nasty-ass creeps that bother us innocent woman will spend the night in jail.
