Ha ha...we can tell how young Mz. Donovan is (and there's nothing wrong with that!**) per her reference to "Perry Cuomo"...isn't that the former Gov of NY???...no no, must be his son, that fella that was a Good Morning America co-host awhile back!

Alas, its that other EYEtalian Perry Como, I'll bet!

Indeed, those were the days of distinct voices...Frank, Dean, Bing, Nat, Johnny, Eddie...when you could understand the lyrics versus the screechers of today....LOL

(for the young readers: Sinatra, Martin, Crosby, Cole, Mathis, and Fischer)

Slainte mhaith! Adh mor ort! to the Girolamos!

** Ooops...I guess that tells how young I am...LOL

Sounds Irish but with an Italian mob ambiance; no wonder there are so many complaints.

Is that all you have to add.

Speaking of weido.

Someone should place your picture on billboards to advance the course for abortions,
Not that I'm for abortions,
But you would be a great assett for abortions,

Is this a forum or a conceptual vomitorium? Give peace a chance-or do your offences start at conception?

Thanks Wondering: Forgot about Frankie. Guess we could add the likes of Andy (Williams), Vic (Damone), Vaughn (Monroe), Tony Bennett, Jerry Vale yada yada as other distinct, Golden Oldies voices and we haven't even gotten to the gals nor the Big Bands that the Girolamos might consider!!!!

Thanks SLA! I just figured "Anonoymous"...or is that supposed to be Anonymous? just hadn't had a chance to have their prunes or roughage for the day and hope s/he feels better now.

Bottom line is...it sounds like a lot of folks will have a fun night at the Dubliner if the Girolamos have a Golden Oldies night periodically...maybe they could have some trivia contests re Olde Lowell. Of course they'd have to give the rest of the crowd a 15 second head start before SLA got to hear the question...LOL
Cheers! Slainte! to all, and to all a Good Night!

Congrats to the new owners of the DUB. Here's hoping the joint won't be Irish in name only, like it was in the past. I really hope they'll have some Irish entertainment there occasionally .We'll be lucky if we see that. The OLD Court does a pretty good job of getting Irish entertainers there every once in a while. They live up to their name as an Irish Pub and restaurant.Slante to you all.
