im from billerica. knew pj very well. sad to say how quick we all forget. pj was very popular. his brother as well. but, only 1 friend was there at the trial. 1! what happen to all the pjd stickers on the cars that honored his life and remembered his death? my heart is with their mother who recently lost her husband as well. all she has left is michaels son, and the memories to hold and haunt her at night.
Hopefully Rene will walk!!! Justice would be served at that point. Sarge u have not been educated on this case it is evident. Lowell SUN IS A HORRIBLE WAY TO EDUCATE URSELF AS THEY HAVE BEEN SHOWING rene as guilty running an ad against rene yearly. There is so much wrong here. A, the so called witnesses did not witness any murder. The became witnesses after being pinched themselves on thier own dealings. There is no fingerprints tied to rene, the tower they have rene talking to the boys from is also in the same area of town that rene grew up in as many of his family members lived at in this time. The boys murdered were traveling with5 pounds of high grade weed thats no where ner light weight while one of those boys is said to be innocent the way that was opackaged and described as packaged theres no way he did not smell or know what his brother put in his vehicle.
to those who say rene deserves to rot what about the big time dealer whom was about to supply him 5 pounds whom was supply all these other people how do you feel about him here is his body at this time?????
And if rene is found innocent after serving 7 years in prison and having his name and face plastered all over the papers for 7 years as it has been once a year for the past 7. do U not think this will follow him as it has OJ simpson?? He will not be able to find good employment and support his family and not have this follow him.
I do not feel that either of those boys deserved to be murdered I think however the police did not fully investigate this case and am sorry for the DOnovan family that they need to go through this. They will probably spend the rest of their life fingering Rene and never looking for any other options. I feel horribly for their lost.
Ramos sat in jail for the last 7 years because he was found GUILTY of possessing a cache of GUNS.

I'm a friend as well, but can't stomach going to the trial. And no, I never put a sticker on my car. It seemed like kind of a joke to reduce two great people to a trendy bumper sticker, and I noticed that a lot of people were just putting them on because it became the cool thing to do at the time. It seemed strange to me.
Going to the trial would be like reliving the pain of 7 years ago detail by detail. Also, seeing Rene saunter in with a smile on his face would put me over the edge. I think many of us feel the same way.
I prefer to remember good times and laugh about the memories with other friends.

this is what it is. Like it or not.
U got a kid from the Burbs, sees a way at getting cash fast. when u can make $5k profit (assuming) in about a half an hour, how wouldnt be tempted. Now this kid was not brough up in "the streets" His good brother was not "dumb" to big bro job prob not approving. DOesnt seem on the same path either. He could smell that in his vehicle. I call the younger brother good from what ive read i dont know these boys and Im sorry for the loss. no one deserves to pass this way.
However, the older brother meets someone (cant say if its man accused as i am not in the jury and I can not judge this person, nor did i witness any murder firsthand) from the streets. The person sees this is someone with large quantities and can put them on to the level they wanna be on in the streets. The burb kid says no fronting u pay first i dont know u. so kid saays k meet me somewhere i got that dough. The burb kid asks bro for a ride and goes to meet someone he BARELY knows in a DARK place with his lil bro and a large quantity of drugs. Now, if the burb kid grew up in streets the difference would have been this, he would have had protection himself. May not be right either but it is what they call STREETS.

I knew Mike and i cant begin to tell you who you that didnt know Mikke and Pj what this did to his family and friends. I dont think many people went to the trial bc 1. they probably coudlnt stomach it as one said and 2. they have jobs. I know Mike knew about his brothers dealings...but i think he loved and trusted his older brother for the fact he would never put Mike in danger...except he did. No one is winning here. Christine lost the most importnant people in her life...and the POS Ramos (will hopefully) lose his life by going to jail. For those of you who just feel the need to comment rudely to others on here...look at yourself. Get a life. You have no idea what people have gone through and continue to go through over this. I know its something i will NEVER forget. Lets just get this trial over with - find that scumbag GUILTY and finally let the boys RIP.

This story break my heart. I am a mother of 2 the same ages as these boys and I can't imagine the horror of getting the news these parents did.I do not know any of the people involved but I hope that justice is served and there is closure for this family... they made a poor judgement call but nothing that deserves them to pay with their lives. I am sorry for the loss of this family.

The other brother knew. How can people say he didn't? Did they talk with him after he was dead? I doubt it. Tyring to make him look like an innocent victim. Makes me sick.
People like you are sick- why are you so concerned with spreading negativity about people after they are dead? Leave it alone. They're gone, let their families have some peace.

We spread the truth about drug dealers, not negativity. The druggies are gone so who cares!
No, you are talking negativity about people you don't know. It makes you feel important. But to those who know the truth, it makes you just look stupid. You may not care about these people because you don't know them and you don't know any of their friends. If you did, you'd keep your mouth shut.

Ramos own friend ratted him out.He will rot in jail.Unfortunately some of us make stupid decisions in life. Its all about the lure of easy money. And oh ya Ramos why would he have a cache of guns.If your stupid enough to have them your stupid enough to use them.Carrying guns makes you real tough let me tell you. What ever happen to the days of fighting.Just goes to show you how strong the drugs are these days. They do cause people to make foolish mistakes. You live ny the gun you die by the gun.And oh ya wheres the supposed gun that PJ pulled on ramos to cause him to shoot.Sounded like someone was nervous and got trigger happy. What a worthless peice o #@$%.

Who performed this investigation? It was a snowy night. No footprint, fingerprint, forensics?? Someone knows the truth here and for the sake of the crime and justice system in the state of Massachusetts, let's pray it comes out. The cold, hard truth! Is easy to see why the high crime rate here in MA.

As far as the lowell police what a terrible job ivestigating. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves you guys are gonna let a couple guys beat your forensics team.Says alot about LPD.Couldnt find nothing in ramos car he was in. your telling me you couldnt even smell or find any traces of ammonia in that car.I hope to hear some damaging evidence come forward from the lowell police. If not you know what i think.

reading the comments left on this page is sickening!! ramos left no finger prints behind is probably due to the fact that it was snowing out that night and he was wearing gloves.no hair oh maybe he had a hat on but you would have to be a idiot to actually try and out smart the police and block your phone number commit double murder and not think the police would have all your calls and the victims cell phones records traced!!lets get with the program people the man is guilty!ramos is dirty and has led a life of crime.blame it on his upbringing blame it on the company he kept common sense tells me the rotten ******* is guilty and i hope he looks good in prison blue!! what a shame mass doesnt have the death penality..let this case be a lesson to all the young people out there dealing drugs is a dead end street
