Get a grip people. It's a dead body that showed no signs of foul play. It's not like someone was bludgeoned to death and everyone heard the person screaming for their life. You people are acting like Michael Myers is on the loose.
OMG, wouldn't that be something.

Janice, that was my exact thought. I won't let a family member touch my car, let alone a "new friend". And while I would help out a friend and let them sleep on my couch if they needed help, again, I wouldn't let a "new friend" these days even know where I live. People crack me up how they trust people they do not know, but are the very same people who will not listen to their parents, or true friends when they are in trouble and need help. The only people I know who let strangers and that is what her new friend is into their home and near their money/cars/children or families are people who tend to do things that some of us wouldn't do cause we don't want to be arrested.

I happen to live in 400 Merrill Lane and watched the drama unfold the other night. What bothers me is not that a body was found, but that I have been parking next to that minivan for at least a week and that there was a dead body in it the whole time. That's a little creepy and it just makes me sad.

I wasn't with him that day and had no vehicle since he took it. I called the police after not being able to reach him for hours and began to be suspicious that maybe he conned me and set this up to steal my van. But there is no reason for them to think I was involved in this if it was a murder. I wasn't told by police out and out that it was my friend they found but since they asked me to give them all or any info I had on him I am assumming that it was him. They asked me if I had any information on his family. So I feel pretty sure that it was him. I just didn't want to believe it. It's so surreal. Anyway, can anyone say exactly when the van first appeared there. If you are sure it was only there for a week. If he was murdered or even if he overdosed or something I wanted to know if it was the same day he took the van or was it a week or so later. Anyway, the police didn't tell me how he died since it seems from the paper they are still investigating that. By the way I am not a guy. I only knew him for 2 weeks and was letting him stay with me to help him out. I am not and should not be a suspect that is if it was a murder since I was home the whole day and I had no reason to want to do something as horrible as that. I am a nice person who was trying to help a guy out.

Something might be up. Why haven't they released the name of the dead person?

We've got an ID on the body. It does sound like an OD.

Gregory Violette, 36, whose last known address was 35 Fulton St., Lowell, was originally from Caribou, Maine,

Also "Involved in Methuen" must have really been involved because the car was reported stolen in Methuen.
Now, we need to know if the guy was behind the driver's seat or if he OD'ed elsewhere & was dumped.

Who cares how he got there...At least he didn't shoot up and die outside an grammer school, where kids would have witnessed it...and if Involved is involved they should be at a police station answering questions or in a mental institution getting their head examined...

I think "Involved" should realize that I know exactly who she is. I have always thought you were completely crazy and if you had anything to do with this you will get whats coming to you. Just hope its sooner than later...and good way to make yourself look guilty. Stackin up the evidence against you now. You are a complete moron

Yeah, this is exactly what proves that drugs are not harmless. There are several of these topics on people who have lost loved ones to drugs. I will never understand why or how people can do this to themselves and to their families. We all have problems, and to me if it is not gonna solve it, don't do it. That is a horrible way to die and I feel sorry for the family, but he is a grown up and made the wrong choices. What I cannot belive is that anyone would let a stranger in their home??? Why would anyone do that? Don't they have a tv and watch any one of a thousand crime shows on tv? I don't get people? What if you and I do drugs I trust you and you trust me??? I don't think so.

Chill. You sound like the turkeys, who used to live there, with their heads lopped off as they were just about to get plucked and prepped for Thanksgiving orders. You live in a safe place.
