Wow- overreact much? This wasn't a murder. It was probably an overdose or a medical issue (someone else mentioned heart attack).

Duh, to sell newspapers for a week. Soon everyone who knows the dead person will be posting about how great he or she was.

Bet the Lowell cops just pushed the car over the town line so they didn't have to do the paperwork!

I believe this could be someone I knew. Does anyone know if the van was there for more than a week? This was my van and I let this new friend of mine take it to Lowell on the 22nd of October and he never returned. I thought he stole it from me. The police showed up last night to tell me they found my van in Dracut with a dead man in it. I want to know if it was him and when he died, and if he was murdered or not. This is so crazy. We were out together the night before on the 21st of October having a good time.

Didn't the police tell you the name of the person or ask you to come indentify who you may have thought it was?

Something doesn't fly with your story.

If you told them that you lent the vehicle to someone, they would have asked you to indentify the body to see if it was the person you lent the car to.

If you were out this guy the night before I think the cops would have a lot more to say to you being someone who possibly could of been the last person to see him alive. Sounds fishy to me.

I was thinking the same thing. Wouldn't this guy be considered a suspect, at least until an autopsy is done and they rule out foul play?

I wasn't with him that day and had no vehicle since he took it. I called the police after not being able to reach him for hours and began to be suspicious that maybe he conned me and set this up to steal my van. But there is no reason for them to think I was involved in this if it was a murder. I wasn't told by police out and out that it was my friend they found but since they asked me to give them all or any info I had on him I am assumming that it was him. They asked me if I had any information on his family. So I feel pretty sure that it was him. I just didn't want to believe it. It's so surreal. Anyway, can anyone say exactly when the van first appeared there. If you are sure it was only there for a week. If he was murdered or even if he overdosed or something I wanted to know if it was the same day he took the van or was it a week or so later. Anyway, the police didn't tell me how he died since it seems from the paper they are still investigating that. By the way I am not a guy. I only knew him for 2 weeks and was letting him stay with me to help him out. I am not and should not be a suspect that is if it was a murder since I was home the whole day and I had no reason to want to do something as horrible as that. I am a nice person who was trying to help a guy out.
