Without a death sentence here in Ma.,if he's found guilty and does life, what's to stop him from killing again while in jail, nothing to stop him, what another life term? What happens if he escapes while doing time and kills someone, will he get another life term. Be honest and ask yourself. If you were never going to get out and there is nothing else that could be done to you, what would you have to lose if you killed again or escaped and killed again?

Look at this dumb arse Elisha Willis putting the gun to his head. He can't just use his fingers to illustrate? This guy is no better then Silinda Sun. You always treat every gun as if it is loaded no matter what. This is why this trial is taking place in the first place.

The same defend attorney George Murphy that represent one of the gangster that attacked me 2009. This attorney does not care when come to his client is true guilty, Mr. Murphy fight just to win or trying to reducing the sentence. This monster is intentional did it and now he got the roommate to help him out to look like an accident.

Who cares if he kills another lifer? It will save the state some money and make room for another scum-bag.

That picture is NOT Elisha Willis. Elisha is the prosecutor and is a woman. That picture is Defense Atty George Murphy. Great reporting as usual!

Google "Thomas Silverstein" and find out what else could be done to someone who kills again while in prison. 20 odd years in a basement cell with no windows, away from all other prisoners, before being moved to the most remote section of ADX Florence, where his again has no contact with other prisoners. 26 years and counting of no contact with anyone other than prison staff, most of whom refuse to speak with him, except for a psychologist who speaks with him once a month just long enough to establish that he isn't insane. Exercise alone in a cage in the prison yard during times when no other inmates are on the yard.

I'm not trying to sympathize with him, just pointing out that after a few years of this kind of treatment, most people would be begging for the needle.

Actually the death penalty costs more money because of the number of appeals and court costs that can span decades. Better just to let him rot in jail.

It takes about 10 yrs or less for appeals. If there it a death penalty, no case workers, nurses,co's who work in the prison system would have a chance to be killed by someone who has nothing to lose,or other inmates who just want to do their time and get out so as to get on with their lives. Or if he escapes and kills someone again on the outside,it's happened more than once. It's not the cost of money,it's the cost in lives.

Maybe now the court will believe what a sick and dangerous individual he is. They released him on $500 bail for a home invasion. In the home invasion he put a gun down a young man's throat and threatened to kill him. If one of the men didn't escape I'm sure he would have killed him...He should have never been released on such a low bail!! What is wrong with our justice system?

Doesn't cost the state anything if another inmate kills them.

i love when people drag race into this. it cracks me up. as for the home invasion...and being with "bad" people...unless you were there...you do not know. and unless you knew Shannon well...you do not know the kind of person she was. the fact is that Shannon is dead...murdered...and she is the victim in this case. race had not one thing to do with it. i am tired...of feeling like I need to police these pages for somebody who is dead and not here to defend themselves...i am tired of the crap being spewed about her...by people who did not know her...and others who are willing to carry on this disgusting loyalty to Silinda Sun, Eric Anderson and all the other people who were involved.(and there were MANY who are not even getting a slap on the wrist.) i appreciate the ones who do not insult her...or add insult to injury to her family and her friends. Only God knows what to do with these people...these criminals with no conscience. Lock them up...fry them...rape them...it doesn't bring Shannon back. You cannot know the light that was stolen from this earth...
