One of the more interesting cases was the one of the Commonwealth VS Trembley. I think it was 1988. This guy by the name of trembley was sitting at home one evening (Actually, like 3:30 AM) when he heres a noise outside. He gets up to investigate the noise and see's a burglar prowling about on his property over on Pawtucket St. Mr. Trembley, home alone see this fellow (something Dangora) enter into a door or window on the Garage attached to his house.

Appantly, there was some sort of passage from the garage to the house in the houses basement. Mr Trembly grabs a gun and silently waits at the top of his cellar stairs for Dangora to appear at the bottom of the stairs. When Dangora finally does come into view, Trembly shots his dead with a bullet to the chest.

Then Trembly goes down the stairs and places a knife next to the body before calling the police. Mr. trembly tried to present the illussion that he was woken up by the intruder, But detectives pointed out that his bed was made, and he was fully dressed when the arrived to the crime scene. Additionally, Mr Trembly, an avid knife collector had many sets of knives mounted on his living room walls. One set of five knives had one missing. That missing knife was the one that was found next to Dangora's body. The knife Trembley said the intruder appear to be holding.

The court ruled that Mr. Trembley had opportunity to A) Call the Police
B) Flee to safety
C) basically avoid shooting the burglar.

I believe he was found guilty of involuntary Manslaughter and giving five years probation.

Moral of the story, don't go breaking into a persons home. Especially if it Mr Trembleys home.

I remember when that Father and Son team Ran a motorcycle guy of the road with there Pick-up truck. Then maybe clobbered the poor guy with a pipe. I think there name was the Griffins or Griffiths..

How about that nice old timer that use to deliver beer and cash checks. He was killed in a robbery across from Saint Josephs Hospital. Poor guy was lured there by his killers, he was found bludgeoned with a paper bag of several thousand dollars in his pocket. I think he worked out of a liquor store on Bridge at 3rd.

Was that the shooting that happened at the Moody Street Apartment? Or something like that, the step father, shot all the kids...if so, my cousin knew the guy, they were in jail together...my cousin was in for something he didn't do.

When I was a kid a guy who lived across the street from us on Hunphrey St. named Rick Brown(I think) killed his wife by stabbing her multiple times when she tried to leave him. I always thought he was kinda weird even as a kid.

Right before I was about to graduate from GLRVTS in 1996 some punk named Juan got killed in the highlands over a drug beef. Got dragged by a car and when he broke loose was flung into a parked car. They dedicated that stupid Mariah Carey Boyz II Men song to him at the prom. I puked in my mouth.

That kid Juan was a no good POS, always starting trouble, always looking to be Johnny Bad*ss. He died in the exact same way he lived, but whenever one of his loser punk friends got on the mic at the prom and exclaimed "this is for Juan yo!" when the song started I just shook my head and a couple of months later went off to college and haven't bumped into more then 10 people I knew in High School since.

I was not defending this kid Juan by any means.
