Hi all,
Rachel I hope you get better soon hun, I didn't know you but you seem like a great person to get to know :)
Now has for that road I can't tell you how many times I have almost been hit and I DO stop and make sure the cars stop... but if one car stops and the other one dosen't they just speed by you when your standing in the middle of the road its kidna freaky. Or there are no cars comming cuz the light is red so you cross then the light turns green people try to fly down that road. I don't care what the school dose but they need to do something. Has for making studnets use the underground things. thats so dumb if you have a class in Ball or something your not going to walk all the way to Southwick to walk underground when the bus stop is right there. I'm just glad the school is trying to make it safer for us. It just sucks they waited till something like this happen and she wasn't even crossing the street. and also I believe state LAW is to stop for people at cross walks maybe if they nailed more people for that they would stop For us. Also its not just North South is the same way people speed like crazy down that road.

first off he wasnt drunk for all u faggots who think he was... im personally friends with him and hes is the most kind person i knew and why would he be flyin up on the sidewalk... obviously somethings not right so to all you haters out there get ur facts right... and i hope she makes a full recovery
Unfortunately, The Sun was quick to print the article when it happened, but was not quick to print the circumstances surrounding the accident. Of course, the information was never released that he had a seizure or fainted. So, being the society that we live in, everyone tends to jump the gun and assume drugs and alcohol are involved. This obviously was a tragic ACCIDENT for all involved, but you are just adding fuel to the fire of the people who are jumping the gun and making these awful assumptions. Your point is clearly taken, albeit worded wrong. My prayers go out to your friend and Rachel alike. It would be nice for The Sun to clarify the facts in this case, but being a long time resident of Lowell, this will never happen. And that is truly sad, considering your friend is going to take a lot of backlash from uninformed people, plus be haunted by this accident for the rest of his life.

My prayers go out to Rachel and Jeff, and their families.

Did you read what happened? The only person who could be at fault is Jeff Hobban.

I'm a UML senior who has had classes with Rachel and I truly wish her all the best. I agree that students aren't careful crossing, but feel it is worth mentioning, yet again, that she was standing on a wide sidewalk at a bus stop and NOT crossing the street.
My prayers are with her and her loved ones as she heals.
I'm a student at UML too, I didnt know Rachel...but I agree with Danielle....it seems since the accident all people can really mention is that UML kids are impatient by crossing the street...it seems like people are taking advantage of Rachels situation and blaming the UML students for trying to get to class. Rachel was after all NOT crossing the street, so I don't know how people can use her standing there being safe as UML students being reckless.

Sir, you are misinformed about this incident. This is not a sin. However, to be so judgmental and damning is. This is a tragedy for all involved. Another tragedy - your spelling.
