I am the father involved in this struggle with the dracut school system. The biggest issue has always been what's in the best interest of our children. My wife and I have researched the rules for the surrounding districts, and dracut protects children from Lowell more than they do children from dracut. Technically, they acted within their rules, but their rules put budgetary concerns and administrative ease over the good of our children, which is wrong.
