I agree. Republicans bend over backwards to favor the rich every chance they get. Image holding up tax cuts for the middleclass for millionarires, billionaires , that dont need the cuts , never asked for them.
But that's the Republicans for you. Willing to hold everything up for the rich.
It will add 800 BILLION to the debt. Tea Party is totally silent on this one. So are all the conservatives. Next year Republicans will argue that the debt is too high and we need to cut Social Security and Medicare. Total sleeze. Where's the rage?

Typical liberal moonbat. Wants to take what the wealthy worked hard to get so they can give it to those who don't do anything. They are always free to contribute whatever they feel they should to local and federal government. But they would rather take what they didn't earn and give it to the lazy. F---'em.

Class warfare doesn't accomplish anything and is just a deflection. The yahoos in DC are some of the wealthiest around yet they all vote to keep their golden benefits, no term limits, loop holes to protect their money off shore. Democrats top the wealth meter in DC and so many have been found to be tax cheats, don't pay their bills, corrupt, etc. Not to say the Republicans don't have the same but it seems to be more Democrat than Republican.
If the Republicans want something funded before they vote for it they're called racists and only looking out for the rich.
And I'm sorry but when was the last time you knew someone on a Government program that created jobs? The wealthy are the ones who are contributors and investors. You start trying to punish success and flatten the classes then you have more government intervention and programs and only the "wealthy" will be in Government.
I am not rich, I'm living paycheck to paycheck as one of the middle class poor but it doesn't take rocket science to know that the nation was in a fit when Government started to bail out big companies, banks, the Gov. Macs, and the Auto industry. Want to see more of that?
The wealthy can contribute more to the Government today and they choose not to. That includes the big wig celebs and Gov officials who are primarily Democrat and condemning the GOP for "protecting the wealthy." They say they would give more...then why don't they put their money where their mouth is today!

Warped and distorted point of view.
All of a sudden "the wealthy are all living in DC,govt bureaucrats, and are Democrats". What a riot!
Check the Forbes List and countryclubs, CEOs, wealthy suburban towns, golf and yaucht clubs, gated communities, private schools, penthouses. lol
Let's put it this way. If they all were DEMs,Govt people, etc., then the Republicans are sticking up for them? Forget the party labels , the rich dont need MORE tax breaks , they have enough, especially when the country is in the hole bigtime. A millionaire is going to get an extra $160,000 from this "tax cut"
You live in a delusional, dream world if you really think most of the wealthy are not Republicans. They are laughing all the way to the bank.

I thought the PRIVATE SECTOR and CEOs were suppose to be " churning out jobs over the last two years"and I dont mean shipping them overseas, either.

I would like to call the Billerica Veterans Association, but cannot find the number! Does anyone know?

Re-read his post; he never said the wealthy were all Dems. And by the way, its not a tax cut. All it is is an extension of the current tax code. So in other words, you are arguing for an across the board tax hike.

What a dolt! The multi-millionaires and billionaires have their money protected through off shore businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and trust funds. Look a Bill Gates he still controls his vast fortune and has insulated it from the Tax man and inheritance taxes. The only ones who would be affected are the middle class and the upper middle class. Warren Buffet has done the same. The bi-partisan commission recommended cuts and changes to SS and Medicare and the current administration has supported the move to make cuts and changes. You are stuck in the same left right bull sh*t. Both of these corrupt political institutions have spent years stealing the surplus funds from these accounts and now want to steal from us again after we have paid into these systems for decades. They have a spending problem not a revenue problem reduce spending on all the needless nonsense that the Federal Government is involved in including needless wars, make good the promises made to the people that have paid into the system and allow other people to create their own solution for retirement that is protected from those thieving corrupt sociopaths. They have betrayed the peoples trust and have nearly bankrupt us with their wars and spending.
