" Laura Z " where were you to protect for the last 3 years while these Yard tows and Gate Fees and price gouging was going on at the current provider ?? Oh , thats right ...you were behind the desk collecting the money . Could you be any more transparent ?
You are wrong I am a female that cares about Chelmsford . Many companies charge gate or yard fees. This is AMERICA its called free enterprise, its all legal and many tow yards charge them. When I was charged a gate fee I called around to see if others charge them and they do. Could you be anymore transparent. Maybe your jealous because you work for a competetor and not Christophers.
Enough

If the person is local, why not tow it to the garage of choice if someone knows where? Then there is no gate fee, storage fee, and just-because-we-can fees.
Or, call AAA.
BEEN THERE TOAD THAT

Anyone that likes Christophers better can feel free to request him. Otherwise the 99% of the other owners that need a tow and are unaware of this Pi$ $ ing contest will end up with it being towed by the bidwinner. I really don't think they are going to get anymore gouged than they would have with the current provider, From what I have heard from many folks . He was sure to charge EVERY possible fee that was permitable by law and then some. And now he is living with the consequences. It's too bad , from what I hear Chris is passionate about the job, but he quotes the laws when they work in his favor, yet ignores them when they don't , what a shame .

The $90 a tow is set by the state. The tow companies do not control that.

How does this bring in a million dollars? The article says that the town averages about 750 tows per year. At $90.25/tow, that equals a little more than 67 thousand dollars.
Like I said, the $90 is set by the state not the tow companies

With all these negative comments on Christoper's Towing, why not get the Att General's office involved. I agree that Christoper"s Practices and Polices are not in sc with the contract awarded. I would like to know why a private tow company cannot pick up a customers car from the yard, christopers policy is he will tow the car from his yard to the street for a tow fee once paid the private tow company can hook up the car and drive away.Sounds to me like another way to screw the public.
