You idiots are really going to complain about how police found these? I don't give a crap if it was a legal search or not, they had some serious guns and I am glad their off the streets so this low-life POS can't harm anyone with them. Clearly this is the case of another no good asian, gang banger who's a drain on society. Bullet right to the head would be the best solution here.

Phonn Deth is already under indictment for drug and weapon charges and is wanted in Revere on a warrant, so I don't see this guy getting off easy. Shots were fired at Coral St.and the police followed him where they found the drugs "in plain sight". In a case like that the police don't need a search warrant. If the drugs were hidden in a closet or out of sight then they would need a search warrant. I think Mr. Deth had better invest in soap on a rope at this time.

Can we just DEPORT them?
PS- SKS is a VERY old gun and can't be made fully auto. They are garbage enough as semi-auto LOL.

If they were trespassing, a warrant is unfortunately not needed. Expectation of privacy... besides, they were in the midst of a crime if they really were tresspassing.

There is a huge problem inside Lowell with these gangs.
The conterfeiting charges are a federal felony and I would expect this guy to do at least 25 years. Making him possibly eligible for parole when he is 48. All his possesion also fall under the RICO act which makes them all liable to seizure by the federal government. As for the others inside the apartment, how can you charge them with only trespassing, are you all out of your friggen minds? get the FEDS in here now!!!!!!!!!

These aren't "gang bangers" they are "wanna-be's" Gangs in general are a disgrace but obviously, in Lowell, the Asians are most prevalent. It's a shame and an embarrassment that folks can't get off their ass to do something with their lives...buying a Mercedes with counterfeit money...flaunting something that you couldn't afford in the first place. Losers.

Funny thing about gang members is that their excuse is always "I have to do what I have to do to survive" or "this is all I know" Most of these gang members were born here with no clue what their parents/grandparents went through in the killing fields. They survived Khmer Rouge and made it to the USA and this is how they are thanked. I am embarrassed to be "CAMBODIAN"

P.S. I live in the Pawtucketville section...it happens to be a nice "quiet" tree lined neighborhood...but of course, now I shouldn't be so gullible to think that anywhere in Lowell is safe, huh?

WOW... people are unbelievable. Its not right to discriminate first of all because the US it a mix of races which makes it what it is. Second of all it's not just Lowell thats not a safe place its anywhere.

And by the way Lowell, how do you know what these gang members know. You only know what you read which is only a part of there lives not the whole thing. For all you know you could have met and became a friend to someone who is or was a gang member.

Yes what then did was wrong but people pick and chose what they want to do. And not everybody's perfect. Also not everything written in a news paper is the complete store, it gets blown out of proportion some times. So the only people who were there are the only real people that know what happened.

The folks in this forum who instead of celebrating that illegal firearms were removed from the streets are claiming illegal search and seisure and fals stories, need to wake up. Face the facts that these perps are scum and their lack of respect for their fellow humans and society's laws make them unfit to live in society. They should all be dealt with jailed, deported, what ever is appropriate.

The dope that thinks a search warrant is required to make an trespassing arrest is comical.

So if you called the police because someone invades or trespasses on your property, you think the police need a warrant to remove them. You are a joke, and probably a criminal yourself.

What have I done for my people?! You think those kids who run the streets give a sh*t about what any of us has to say?! Are you fkn serious? They go to an after school program and gang band at night....BECAUSE IT'S COOL. Call me high and mighty all you want but THEIR parents should have been a bigger presence and bigger influence in their lives.

I have lived everywhere, from Randolph, to Quincy, to Stoneham, to Newton, and now in Lowell...no where have I ever experienced such nonsense.

It is embarrassing and a total shame to see how they come to this country and being called a "gang banger" is all they got from it. You shouldn't be talking...you may have benefited from a few ESL classes yourself.

Sheem like the blogger like to bring minority issue into the blog, okay I am going to come to your level what about the WHITE LADY who burn down the house in South Boston, did she need to be deported or take an ESL class? I guess not, instead of bashing people on their legal or minority status let look at the fact CRIME HAS NO BOARDER- SO STOP THE BASHING AND GET TO THE FACT- FOR REAL.
