Here we go again. Just like a can of sardines left opened out in the sun to fester is a good example of what our prison/jail living conditions is like. Overcrowded period. Not much is being done about it. The cries for medical attention fall on deaf ears until someone falls dead, and even then not much more is done but removal of the body. Check the news and you will find this to be the norm.
Also, for all those believe all that are jailed belong there, do keep in mind that failure to pay child support is also a jailable offense, not to mention failure to pay other fines.

On the otherside, has anyone considered the caregivers of this individuals. Officers, Nurses, Probation Officers, etc who are also at risk?
Do they also deserve to contract whatever disease is going around in those facilities?

A completly inept and uncaring medical staff. food that, despite what is said, does not meet nutritional standards, staff that manipulates budget and inspection for their own personal gain. favoritism and prejudice by staff, with special attention to the work release staff, This entire prison operation and its staff should be completly investigated by other outside agencies for the bettermeent of inmates and the paying taxpayer. corruption is rampant at taxpayer expense

Well, NEWSFLASH, you are not. None are actually. Perfect scenario. My brother through baptism is a excellent citizen of society. He does all the right things, yet not too long ago he was coming home from work and school and the police officers beat him, mistreated him, and threatened him...what was the reason. They thought he was a drug dealer or was carrying a gun. Mind you, he was arriving home from school and work.

I am absolutely on your side. The prisons should be closed down and the ones imprisoned should be those who run it! They are the real criminals and psychos.

Upon visiting my husband at a trailer for tow days, I contracted scabies and I may be pregnant. The beds are disgusting with urine and blood stains as well as the pillows and the baby crib.
I have never see such unsanitary conditions and to think my money is being used for this junk. I shouldn't pay taxes...then again...it is PUNISHABLE BY THE LAW. Yeah, they force you to contribute money, but when you retaliate they throw you in jail.

Citizens should rise up against this crooked parliament and let them know we will not tolerate this garbage. They are worst than Communist at this point. I know what you went through because my husband is incarcerated for not snitching on his own.

It' not really up to the inmates to resolve this,The public needs to open it's eyes demand a full open accounting of all aspects of this croney operation, all the way to the work-release program. This entire county prison system is mis-managed, and covered over for the benefit of the staff and management. There is no doubt that people would be surprised, taxes would be affected for the better, and the county government protected con people and liars will be exposed like the cock-roaches they are. Of course, the general public is like a herd of sheep.tell them anything and they believe it, just a bunch of suckers.

Now this incompetent Administration in Northampton County wants to hire a private Company to run a Country Club facility for offenders to help them re-enter society. This will of course be with our tax dollars. Tennis Courts, bigscreen TV,s must be nice. Bethlehem Twp. will love it.
