So the lady spoke her mind...big deal...isn't it considered 'free speech?'

It's getting to the point where you'll be in trouble for saying anything!!! When is it going to stop...As far as I'm concerned, she voiced HER thoughts...so what...The school district needs to grow up, and stop being such cowards!

To bad ...because if thats what she wrote...there is somewhat TRUTH spoken...her opinion her just that...!
If some of these parents would hold themselves accountable for rearing the students....maybe they wouldn't be as Lazy ! This is not against ALL students and ALL parents ! But nowadays to many parents leave "rearing" to the School teachers !!!
My opinion...the teacher does not need to be terminated ! And No! I am not a teacher , nor a parent in this district ! To bad some make it bad for others!
All it takes is a squeaky wheel to CRY..."she called my kid Lazy...etc... Own up to it...."SOME kids are indeed LAZY....if the shoe fits....wear it and do something about it !

AMEN to the previous 3 comments! I'm sick of hearing the teachers are to blame! The woman spoke the truth! Parents need to be parents not buddies with their kids! Most of the brats nowadays need the Golden Rule...on their A$$e$!

Not necessarily. "Telling tales out of class" has been considered unacceptable behavior since the 1500s. Medical workers would have the same issues to face.

I recommend googling for the long story on her at philly.com . It includes funny excerpts from some of her posts. On the other hand, she admits in her blog that she's a bad teacher because she's bored and demotivated. She was scheduled to go on maternity leave within a month, so paid suspension isn't much of a punishment.

she told the truth.
it's a widespread behavior, kids being rude and parents being unable to do a good parenting job.

The worst part of the situation is that she doesn't regret it.
