Mr Ferrainola's children are the reasons he was forced out.
EVERY one of them.
They treated the school as their personal check books.
They were all on the payroll, didn't have to show up or do any actual work.
Drugs & depraved sex pretty much took up all their free time.
Was this enough? No, they also messed with people for sport. Piss one of them off & you risked losing your job & home.
The youngest kid, Tresa is the worst. She is the biggest reason the Ferrainola's were told to hit the pike.
Any good deeds the old man did were wiped out by the crap that he allowed in the last 15 years of his tenure.
He didn't have dementia/alzheimer's for the last 15 years, either....,

My friends grandson was sent to Glenmils Monday, 11/9/09. We were toldthat his stepmother had him taken there becuase she was having problems. I am asking is that possible? Can a parent or guardian have their kid sent to GM or do you have the courts get involved and do you need cuase like the kid broke the law.

Is the judge scandal in Lucerne County in any way related to the questionable practices at Glen Mills? I know Lucerne sends kids to Glen Mills. We had to provide documentation to the county for the school.

Yes, he had a stroke, the surgery, & his son did die.

Mr Ferrainola wasn't dishonorably let go. He was fired because the board had had enough of the shenanigans his remaining children were engaged in on a DAILY basis. He would have been allowed to leave honorably, but up until the very hour the board met, he was working the phones trying to get a power base going.
You kids knew it, too. You were part of the phone push, Mr Ferrainola even blew smoke up your asses telling you that night he had enough board members on his side for an upset. The only thing he didn't count on was that the board members that he had spoken to had lied to him.
Actually, that's a delicious irony, the ultimate liar & his spawn were led down the primrose path...., by being lied to themselves. It was wonderful.
Some other poster on this site stated that Rose & her siblings were despised, that poster was sooo correct. People may have sucked up to you & the other leaches, but when the shit hit the siblings, there was much satisfaction at the Mills.
The only shameful thing that came of all of this crapola, Rose, was that you all knew your Dad wasn't well & NEVER stopped the shit You/Rita/Tresa pulled on a daily basis. Mr. Ferrainola is amazing...what he did over all the years should be honored. He should not be judged for loving his children unconditionally. Many of staff still there have young kids who have made mistakes, and will keep making mistakes...thats life!! GMS is a school of second chances, isn't it?? Arn't those boys there to get a second chance at things? Stop bad mouthing my family, you got what you want, we are gone. As for saying Tresa better never come back, is that a threat?? If a person in your business, as you describe, volunteered to go into the community to get things done for the Glenn Mill school and, what it sounds like, placate the "local government" and then the employers "kick you to the curb," then he/she has the "right" to be an "asshole" as you put it. By the way, why does a school for delinquents have a golf course anyway??

Rita, you can't rewrite history. "All of that is interesting, but what has made Glen Mills unique was the decision to build and operate a golf course on its grounds. In 2000, the Golf Course at Glen Mills opened for play and the accolades have been rolling in ever since" PA Golf.Com
The Golf Course opened in 2000. In previous post Rose gives your Dad credit for the Golf Course. You guys are already getting your stories confused.

Rita, The drugs & booze have taken a toll on your perspective & memories.
Again, let me be clear. Your Dad started the school on to it's rightful path to being the premiere school for juvenile justice.
You kids ruined any good deeds he did by your depraved & degrading behaviours. You(Rita) used school vehicles for drug runs, for pity's sake! You were arrested & convicted of drug offenses. Sweetheart, I really do feel bad for you grandkids. Your parents completely screwed you up & over.
This isn't about enjoyment, it is about making sure that people who read this know that your Parent & aunts are full of shit. What they are writing here? Is this the same Nicole that had to leave the state to live with her father because Mom's new boyfriend/hubby didn't want you around? Let set the record straight, I decided to move away for one simple reason, I did not like my step dad...I Love my father!! It was hard for me to live in a house with another man that was not my Dad, I have a great respect for my father. As for the situation with Tresa and I...you have it all wrong!!! I was not drugging & drinking with her, I was doing just the opposite. Her & I had a altercation, she did as she always does and manipulated a very sick man. You keep saying why didn't anyone stand up to her?? Well I did, and it got me no where at all!! I do not agree with the things she has done, I saw it first hand...I mean look she did it to me!!!
