While you're at it, blame Hollywood, too. All the movies that glorify college drinking and partying. Make it seem like drunkeness all through school is not only the norm, but necessity to have the "true college experience."
Good point, everyone is so worried if there kids are smoking pot, hm NO theyre are downing bottles of vodka like its water. when your kid comes home puking they are not sick THEYRE WASTED! get some common sence.

Party school!!!!/???? Do you realize how many schools have that rep? Get your head together! You don't condemn the school for the actions of a few.

I am writing to all of you who feel it is necessary to post your opinions regarding my cousin Christopher's death. First of all, how dare you "Tree Huggin Hippie" get graphic about his death? He was not splattered all over the railroad, and don't ever post that again. We have a big family and they would be devastated if they read that. This was not a result of under age drinking, this was a freak accident and no one will ever be able to understand why this happened. When someone dies, you don't blame the victim! Where's your soul? I say this to all who feel the need to express their feelings; instead of surmising what you think MAY have happenend or SHOULD now happen regarding drinking laws, just say you're sorry for the family and say a prayer asking God to never allow this to happen to someone you love.

Obviously you knew him. I'm sorry for your loss. But it doesn't negate the fact that underage drinking is the cause of many deaths in the college community.
Aside from that, drinking is the not the way to deal with issues in your life.$h1t like this happens when you are drunk. You walk in front of a moving train and end up splattered all over the railroad.

I would like to reply to all of those people who found it necessary to make awful comments about my cousin Chris. Unless you know the exact circumstances of the incident you shouldn't comment on it. You should think about what your words can do to people especially to the family and friends. He was a young man who was of age mind you.You have not a clue what was going on that night and we all have made mistakes in this life and there by the grace of God go I. You should not pass judgement. It makes me sad that there are people such as yourself that are angry and find it necessary to comment about something they know nothing about. Christopher was a wonderful person who was loved by many, I only pray nothing like this should happen to you or someone you love and then have to read an IGNORANT, message about them when you are grieving. But simply thats all these comments are ignorance.

Disgusting people. You didn't know Chris, you didn't know his family and you don't have the slightest idea as to what happened that night. I wouldn't have wished what happened to Chris on my worst enemies. And yet it has happened to one of my very close friends and while I can't sleep and can't stop grieving you make jokes about the incident..... Grow up

TO YOU "THE REAL WOW" AND "WE ARE NUMBER ONE"
You can excersize good judgement in you life, but you'll be surprised when you find yourself in a situation that you didn't know was going to be deadly.
Weather its going out late at night, driving late on a Friday night (sober or not, its still possible to get hit by an intoxicated driver)or taking a walk by the tracks after a night of drinking or living in New York considering the fact that if a disaster happens, its a death trap and no one would be able to get out...nobody can tell the future.
You can sit high on your stool of judgement but you're not perfect. No one is. You didn't know Chris, and shame on you for taking the opportunity to be such a snob on a message board of all things.

Christopher Reynolds, 21, of Downingtown, Chester County, was hit near N. Main and Railroad streets as he walked just outside the rails, said Patrolman Peter V. Nickischer of Berks-Lehigh Regional police.
''He's walking toward the train and kind of stumbling,'' Nickischer said.
Nickischer said the conductor was unable to stop in time despite having slowed from 50 mph to 22 mph after receiving an earlier report that two men, both possibly intoxicated, were trespassing on the tracks.
and if he wasnt drunk how hard is it to step away from a train? its not like the train can turn into this kid its on tracks........
