We picked up our son, John, from a friend's home on Sunday night and he mentioned that there was a terrible accident coming back. When we spoke to our son, Mike, on Monday who is one of Tom's fraternity brothers and had just spent time with him on Saturday evening mentioned about the car accident. Who would've thought they were interconnected. We are so sorry for your loss at this time and we know words can't help how your family is feeling. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

I can't decribe my deepest sympathy for you at this time. I drove by this accident sunday night when I was going back to school. I immediatly began to pray for you and your family! I had a sister killed in a car accident only a few years ago, And yet I still don't have the right words to say at a time like this! I will continue to think and pray about your family. Words just aren't enough.

Tom was one of my best friends at Penn State Altoona. He was an amazing person and I was lucky to have met him. He was always so happy and did everything and anything he could for people to see them happy as well. I am so sorry for your loss, I loved him like he was my brother as well. God bless your family.

We were driving home from Boiling Springs on Sunday night and passed the accident only shortly after it happened. Even though I didn't know Tom and his friend, there is an overwhelming feeling of connection when you pass something so tragic. I prayed immediately for the victims and their families and I want you all to know that you have our deepest sympathy. I hope you find peace in knowing that they are watching over you.
