Many people know of Hooters as a place to dine in a tacky but yet still friendly atmosphere with beautiful waitresses dressed in the minimum amount of clothing. It is also known that at many numerous Hooters restaurants around the country, especially those restaurants in the Deep South people take pictures and even videos with the waitresses. Unfortunately, that is not the case with the Hooters restaurant in Downers Grove, Illinois. In fact, taking pictures and/or videos at the restaurant and with the waitresses, and even posession of a camera is actually totally prohibited at the Hooters of Downers Grove. Violators are subject to immediate confiscation of camera and camera equipment, ejection from the restaurant, police contact, and a trespass warning from the Downers Grove Police department and the DuPage County sheriff. Don't get smart with them either; Illinois state law requires immediate confiscation of cameras without any due process from anyone caught photographing or filming private property. And under Illinois law, a restaurant is considered private property.

Just the other day, I took my boyfriend to Hooters of Downers Grove and just 2 minutes later, we were kicked out of the restaurant because my boyfriend had a camera in his pocket! A few minutes after we left, we were pulled over by the Downers Grove police and we were both told by the police that in fact mere posession of a camera is forbidden at that Hooters and that because my boyfriend was caught at the restaurant with a camera in his pocket we were never to go within less than 300 feet of Hooters of Downers Grove, otherwise we would both be arrested for trespassing. Hooters of Downers Grove is certainly a big oddball Hooters for not allowing posession of a camera let alone taking pics/videos with the waitresses.

I symphathize with you, crazychick! A few years ago, I went to the Hooters in Asheville, NC and I asked the girls if I could get a few pictures with them, and they happily obliged, until the manager (who was a total smart-ass, by the way) told me not to bring a camera in the place, but not to talk to the girls on the job. Boy, was I PO'D! If this nut had told me sooner, I would have put it away and there would have been no problem. I wanted to confront him the following weekend, but I thought better of it, knowing he'd be out in months. I haven't been back since, and I don't ever want to go back! If I ever go to Illinois, you gave me a heads-up on the Downers Grove Hooters. Advise your friends and everyone in Downers Grove not to go to that particular Hooters. In fact, boycott it, then see if they finally come to their senses and allow cameras. If not, let Hooters know, and then they might stop this, or close it down until they see things your way!

It has happened again last week at Hooters of Downers Grove! A customer brought a camera to Hooters of Downers Grove and got arrested and thrown in jail when 6 interims from Texas posed for the customer and took their picture. The manager immediately called the police, who then came and arrested the customer, and then strip searched and X-rayed every single customer and waitress in the whole restaurant. The 6 interim waitresses were also arrested by the Downers Grove Police Department and also subsequently fired from the restaurant.

Are you that attention starved that you have to make up stories and then have to have conversations with yourself under different names on here? None of this happened. Moron.

Don't get smart with the law, dan. If you are really desparate to read the news articles of arrests at Hooters for picture taking, here are just 3 of them. One is at; http://www.dgpd.org/arrest-report070110/Hoote... Another one is at http://www.dgpd.org/arrest-report091610/Hoote... And also, http://www.dgpd.org/arrest-report091810/Hoote...

So yeah I work at DG Hooters and you can definitely take pictures. We encourage it and grab all the girls and take pictures together. The only thing we don't accept with pictures is if you are SECRETLY taking them. Like we have creepers who will come in and like secretly try to take pictures of our butts when we aren't looking. like, thats disgusting and illegal so that isn't allowed.

Ps. "um no" from Arlington Heights is a troll and has been reprimanded. Face it people. You can not take pictures of your waitresses at Hooters of Downers Grove and waitresses at that Hooters are forbidden by Illinois state and DuPage County law to pose for pictures by or with their customers.

Brian, here is yet another heads up for you on Hooters of Downers Grove. In fact, just a few hours ago, a customer at Hooters of Downers Grove was arrested, yes that is correct, arrested by the Downers Grove Police Department for having one of those cell phones that has a built in camera for taking pictures. And also, just a few months ago, 6 interims from Dallas, Texas and a customer were arrested by the DGPD for taking/posing for pictures, as well as for violation of copyright.

By the way Brian, all of those people arrested at Hooters of Downers Grove were not even let go with a warning either. They were taken straight to jail.

Thanks for the warning about what happened recently at the Downers Grove Hooters, News man! I still cannot for the life of me why no cameras on phones, digital, or 35mm are allowed there! It still sounds to me that the police there haven't tired of their little game yet! As I said, you really want good hospitality, come on down to the Hooters of Hickory or Gastonia and they will treat you like a VIP!

You people are so ignorant for saying something so ridiculous. The Hooters in Downers Grove gladly accepts cameras. The managers will take pictures for you. Whoever wrote this is really, I have no other word than dumb. This is the most outrageous thing I have ever read. And the fact that you are attacking people who are going against what you say and defending Hooters is very childish. To anyone whom it may concern Hooters allows cameras, allows photographs to be taken, it will not get taken away, and you will not get thrown in jail. My guess is that this is someone who 1. got kicked out of Hooters for being a j*cka*s, 2. has gotten burned by one of the Hooters girls, or 3. Is a really ignorant jealous girl.
