Hi All

I live in Northern Ireland and thought I would search Google Earth online for places in the world with my surname DOW in its name. Thought it was kinda cool to find a City with my name. I was wondering is there anyone in Dow City with Dow as a surname?

I don't believe that there are any Dows living in Dow City anymore. The town was named after Simeon Dow back in 1869. Today the town has a population of about 800 people, very small, but a nice little town.

you can find a little history about Simeon Dow.
There is also a house/museum in Dow City that he built that is opened to the public.
