911: Teen boy shot in head while skeet shooting in Dover Township

Emergency medical workers are rushing a 17-year-old boy to the hospital after he suffered a gunshot wound to his head while skeet shooting in Dover Township this afternoon, according to York County 911.

My question is what type of club would allow someone to shoot skeet with a .22 handgun. I shoot many different types of guns and shoot trap. I believe some of the club officials should be questioned about their practices.

I see all the comments about using a 22 to shoot skeet. I don't see anywhere in the artical that states he was using the 22, nor did it say it was self inflicted. It could have been a stray shot from another section of the range.
