Skeet shooting with a 22 cal. handgun? Must be an excellent shot to attempt that but I guess not if a 17 yr. old got shot in the head.

rider what does the N.R.A. have do with this? It just shows your ignorence. The N.R.A. teaches safe and responsible gun handling. They protect our constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Lose them rights and see how fast our government takes the rest of your rights. You probably don't mind.Your more and likely a hippy liberal lets save the world pussy anyway.

My question is what type of club would allow someone to shoot skeet with a .22 handgun. I shoot many different types of guns and shoot trap. I believe some of the club officials should be questioned about their practices.

Something doesn't add up. Add me to the list of NRA haters. After the NRA supported Spectre in 2004 I will never be a member again . We wouldn't have Obama care today without the NRA pushing benidict arlen back into office.

I see all the comments about using a 22 to shoot skeet. I don't see anywhere in the artical that states he was using the 22, nor did it say it was self inflicted. It could have been a stray shot from another section of the range.

"Neighbors said the shooting happened at a HOME with three brothers who often shot at targets in the woods behind the HOME."

Exactly "DFBHD"!!! I am more fearful of idiotic posters than anything the NRA does; for that matter anything government does. After all, if these folks cannot read a simple article like this and decipher what it actually said; these same folks are permitted to vote. Now that's really scary. But they live amongst us and hoping that THEY represent a small percentage of the population. However, me thinks it IS the other way around. Following the thinking on this thread, facetiously speaking, I think they were using 55 gallon drum lids for skeet; making the use off a '22' feasible! How's that deduction!

Chet wrote: <quoted text> How does one shoot themself in the head while skeet shooting anyway?! Article does not state he shot himself in the head. Responders on this post really need to read carefully before posting their gibberish. Because from what I've read on the comments, that is what most of the comments are...gibberish.
