I do not know. Wait - yes I do - its because there is a powerful lobby that influences our congressmen, namely AIPAC. Read 'The Israel Lobby' by Mearscheimer and Walt. One counter lobby is the Council for the National Interest - consider joining/donating. I believe a new lobby called 'J Street' is being formed by Jewish/Pro-Israeli folks that is less hard-line than AIPAC. This Kadish thing is timely given the AIPAC espionage trial (US v Rosen and Weissman) is about to start on April 29th - last I heard, though it may be delayed again.

Would you trust bozo the clown (georgie) and "dick" cheney when you see them in bed with the "royals" of saudi arabia? or georgie eating lobster with shorty putin in Maine? These are neos who don't believe in anything and the Israelis know it! So, get over it!

What kind of ally would employ esppionage against its lone major world military/financial benefactor?

The Israel lobby wanted the war with Iraq and now wants an American war with Iran. Iran and Israel are paradoxically the only national victors from the American Iraq misadventure which may bring a horrible future cost to America. Too bad that there are not now 4000+ dead Israeli's or Iranians with $12 billion flowing from their treasuries every month made as payment for this victory. One drop of American blood , one American life and a one American penny was too high a price for the imaginary Iraqi threat.

Let us not make the same mistake again. Iran is a much more formidiable threat than either Iraq or Afghanistan. Let the Europeans or Israel or the Arabs take on Iran with our military technology.

And cut out all of the hypocritical crap about wanting to bring democracy to the Middle East. America does not want democracy in the Middle East our key Arab allies e.g. Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, U.A.E. are royal theocracies. Even Israel is a theocracy. America wants oil.
